  1. i agree i bet they would be a great muskie bait... as said before it is definitely way above your "avg" sized frog. in person they seem huge. havent used them but when i felt them i would have to say they definitely seem like theyd tear very easily.. and if it was a muskie.... kiss that puppy goodbye ;D
  2. This just happened to me when i was on my fishing trip last weekend... couldn't touch them with a texas rigged rage tail monkey, lizard, rooster, culprit worm, anything but my buddy was slaying them on a weightless senko.... catt said it right.. ROF

very good point might i add
  4. Usually they will eat the frog again, but you can never go wrong with any kind of weightless soft plastic thrown close to the scene of the crime x2

rage tail has an amazing line of baits but just havent had luck the toads... on that note not to change but my vote is and always will be sizmic
  6. Clear coat
  7. Ditto. I currently have 7 molds, 1 medium injector, and the dual color injector from Bear (www.bearsbaits.com). Very easy to do, and a lot of fun. I would recommend eye wear, hot mill gloves, and a respirator. Bear also has a great community too, I have been there about two (2) weeks, and glad I got into it. Good Luck! These are a must! and yes it may be frustrating but u get a thermo, and be patient its not to bad..read some of the articles about it and youll get a better idea, youll only burn the plastic like Lunker was saying if ur not paying attention or dont have the tools listed above. IMO steady hand, easy does it and the colors are endless

  9. interesting... i got my 6' hudd at a ROF 5... You guys think the stock hook is fine? I wanna try it in this weekends tourney, so i dont have much time to "practice" with it I got the supplies to do the Butch Brown way but it looks like most of you so far have had no problem with the way it is.. thanks for any feedback
  10. How do you guys like to rig your hudd? I see alot of people rigging the hudd differently and changing it... like this seems very popular and look much better... Have any of you done this before? For those of you who have.. Does the top of the hudd get torn up to much when u stick the shank of the hook in the hud and then land a couple fish? If you havent seems interesting huh? http://www.sfadams.com/2010/03/18/butch-brown-how-to-rig-a-huddleston-swimbait/ BB

around here theres alot of places where wedont have shad as the forage, and definitely not trout, so in that case what would you throw the 6'' hudd in then? if you dont know.. Im literally at the tw checkout tryin to pick a color :-?
  13. Up in the Eagle River country. Lots of little lakes around there good for Large, Small, Musky, etc..I go up there every year with my brother in Wausau. Ill be up there too with a buddy!.. we go to minocqua and boulder junction area, ill be there first week in june and first week in july. watch out for them muskie to rip off the grass minnow, i never throw anything im not willing to lose after i had 3 LC's bite off by muskies. :
  14. As others said.. i love it.. -Mask your odor -get bait lubed well for going through weeds very easily -Hold baits longer -extremely user friendly.. No oily bottles of spray that wash off after one spray and get all over -and probably one of my favorite reasons= When fishing with "tougher" plastics, ill put a dab right where the hook is and slide it through a couple times.. This lubes up the hook and ensures a very easy glided hookset right between their eyes
  15. where in wisconsin? ill be up there too
  16. wondering the same thing, hoepfully people chime in

Very cool. I might have to pull the trigger. As for the regular Giron, I don't know, I'm guess I'm not a big fan. A lot of people love it, maybe I just need to spend some more time fishing this bait. I'm not sold on the action...a little to stiff for me. Again, perhaps some more time. I couldn't agree more! X2 everything you just said! action is stiff and not a big fan, but i need to give it more time i bought it early last year
  23. I'm in!
  24. theyre the same bait
