The one i believe your thinkin of is a trailer hook when u said it helps with hook ups.. here i a spinnerbait with a trailer hook... http://www.***.com/descpageSPINSTRIKE-SKPPBLS.html and then a jig with a "trailer" which which is the soft plastic craw Hope this helps

Ok... heres a scenario... Im on a fishing trip up north and it has only rained since ive been here (sat.) and it cold but the water temps havent cooled off too bad... My question is how would you attack this lake? To help out there are alot of bays with lillys and then everything drops off to hydrilla and many more weeds it is full of weeds!!! Max depth is 55ft... but avg is bout 8-10ft... caught a couple small ones in about 5 feet of water with some rage tails but thats it... 5 fish in three days :'( :'( :'( wat would you guys do or use? BB

After reading this i feel dumb... but very willing to change... I unfortunately ALWAYS use an ewg on my plastics... Im very open to switching to increase my hookups but the reason i have always loved them is because i love when u rig a senko, worm, lizard, or w/e that you can get them to lay perfectly flat with hook while being texposed. I feel if you used an offset that any of those baits would have a "kink" in them and not be straight? Can someone show me how you rig these with the offset maybe it is just me... Thanks BB

wow this is very broad but this should get you on a good foot.... depending on water... if its clear or light stained try to stick to browns, greens, and realistic colors... watermelon seed, green pumpkin, etc. if your fishing dark murky water.... dark colors like junebug or even black at times... As for type of baits... Thats what makes bass fishing unique... So many choices Id say get some craws... ex strike king rage craw or netbait paca craw ribbontail worms... probably powerbait and gander mtn senkos... either Gary Yammys or Yum dingers.. not sure what else gander has cause i dont have one.... and maybe some creature baits... and the choices are endless for that... Just look around this site and there are plenty of talks about the "best" of each of these type baits... Good luck!! 8-) The monkey has gotten another!

Thanks!! Also, does it matter if its the bleeding ones or not? I got chrome blue and chrome black one of each in bleeding and not, at my dicks... Do you think im good with those colors? The difference is like 4 small red tick marks by the "gill" and then red hooks... BB

Well im convinced to pick up a couple because of great reviews.. im not experienced with lipless crankbaits... What colors would you guys suggest?? And if you have had experience with these and wouldnt mind sharing how you fished them feel free! thanks BB
