How Is The Booyah Pad Crasher Frog
How is the Booyah Pad Crasher Frog? I have been a Spro Bronze Eye man for a while now but I was at Dicks Sporting Goods and they have the Pad Crasher and Popping one, for 20% off. I bought 3, but not sure if I should go back and pick up a few more. I love th Spros, but with a price like that, is the Pad Crasher pretty good?

Rod Transportation
I personally wouldnt leave mine in the car all the time, but if I did have others in the car they would have to understand that a seat may be down or there are rods by their heads. If someone is in the passenger seat but no one in the back I will still have them through the middle of the two seats. If there are people in the back I will put them ontop of a tackle box and run them from the trunk over the back seat with the tips somewhat near the ceiling of the car. My friends know that they will have to deal with fishing stuff at times. They understand and it all works out. But typically I kept mine in the dorm until I was going fishing, didnt trust all the people walking through the parking lots at the university

Bps Xps Extreme Trigger Rods
I have 2 Extreme Rods that were my first 2 Baitcasting rods. Got them about 9 or 10 years ago. Still some of my favorite rods and am always considering getting another. They are good rods that are often overlooked because of all of the new "upgrades" like microguides and the carbon blanks and stuff. I presonally love the feel of the Extreme Rods and with them on sale, I think you got a good rod for the money. Good Choice!

Veritas Issues Resolved?
I wasnt going to hesitate to get my second when they were still $99. If they do have their breakage issues resolved, I will probably get at least 1 if not 2 more now that they are $80.

Veritas Issues Resolved?
Has Abu Garcia resolved their issues with the Veritas? I bought one last year and it was great, bought another one this spring have yet to use it. Anyway, I was looking at them all at bass pro and all of the guides looked good, all of them looked straight. I was curious if anyone has tried a more recently purchased veritas to see if they had any of the issues that had plauged them in the past. I wasnt worried about getting either Veritas, mostly because I have heard great things about Abu's fantastic customer service. I have 2 more rods to buy and am considering another Veritas or 2...

Why Are The Old "round" Baitcasters Still Popular?
I had never used a round baitcaster until 2 years ago. Was in a tournament with my uncle, almost over and I had broken a jig off so I grabbed his calcutta and on the second pitch I caught a 3 lber. We had to take off to the weigh in right after. I really liked the round baitcaster. Felt sooooooooo solid. Hes had that reel for a long time too, crazy to see how long it has lasted

Rod Transportation
I have a 2009 Subaru Forester too! I just lay mine from the back to the front, in between the front seats. If I am going on a trip I lay them on top of everything with a pillow/blanket between rods/reels to keep them from banging around. I have not had any issues yet...

Best Reel For The Money
I dont think you can really go wrong with an reel in that price range. You just have to try them out and see what you like. I love the way the Tatula looks and feels to reel, but the way it sits on my hand, it would give me a blister if I did a lot of long casts. So I think its really whatever you are most comfortable with.

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
How much more sensitive is the Compre than the bucoo? And how much lighter is the bucoo than the Compre? If you were getting 1 which would it be?

Dremel Tools
I agree, got one for a christmas gift a few years ago and its a piece of junk! save your money for something better.

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
I think I have talked myself out of the Mojo Bass, but the BuCoo and Compre are both still interesting to me... Looking for T Rigging Brush Hogs and Jigs that are under 3/4 oz. So, Not really sure what the best fit is.

Can Anyone Think Of Another Specific Setup I Need?
Maybe something for topwaters, swimbaits, Carolina Rig, or senkos???? I personally HATE setting up a rod for the Carolina Rig, so I have one specifically set for that so I dont have to worry about taking something off and getting it all set up

65 Lb Braid
Good idea, never thought about that. Saves a few bucks there. Love the stuff.

65 Lb Braid
I have used Power Pro with great success. I typically use 50 lb. I havent changed the line in 2 years, and its been good to go

One Technique To Work On.
Can i pick more than one? 1st would be Deep Cranking, but I would like to get better at Carolina Rigging and swim baits.

Point Me In The Direction Of A Good Line
Since we both have pretty much the same frog rig and stuff, I have been using 50 lb power pro the past few years for frogs and have had ZERO issues with it. I love the line. I dont really fish Pads or the thickest cover, so 50 lb has been more than enough for me.

Best Casting Rod Under 65 Bucks
I love my Veritas. They also have a 3 year warranty. I have had no issues with breaking on the Veritas but i have heard people say that Abu Garcia's customer service is great

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
How are the Ethos Rods at Academy?

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
3 hours for me to get to a store who sells the ***. All I have read are great reviews, but not thinking I want to drive 3 hours to get one.

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
I already have 2 Veritas rods. I know they have had breaking issues, but I have yet to have that issue, and I think the customer service will make up for the breakage. at least I hope so. Ive been very happy with the Veritas thus far. Looking at trying something else for the Curado though

Favorite Rod Brand?
I dont know if I have a favorite brand. I have tried a bunch of brands. I have a few BPS Extremes and a Bionic Blade, 4 Abus, and a handful of Daiwas. I like trying different brands. Not sure if one has really clicked as "My Favorite Brand" yet.

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
I do not want to order a rod without at least holding it and seeing it in person, that is why I have not tried a *** ***. Bass Pro, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Academy are really the only places around for me to get rods. Can't spend more than $115 on a rod. Already overspent this year. Was only planning on getting a Revo S and Veritas but I ended up getting 2 Curados yesterday so Now I need 2 more rods... Are there any other good rods I am missing from the list of rods I should be looking at? Mojo Bass, BuCoo, Compre, and Carbonlight...

My Good Bps Deal/new Frog Combo
I just got the same rod for Frog fishing, but I bought a Revo S during the reel trade in, I ended up getting a Curado 7 and 6 yesterday and now I am wondering if I want to make the curado g7 the frog reel. Ive been using a 6.2:1 gear ratio the past few years so I am not too concerned about that. I think I may stick with the Revo, but I may go with a curado. We could have the same combo! Im pretty stoked about my purchase as well. Good Work sir! You can fish a jig on that combo too

Mojo Bass, Bucoo, Or Compre?
I see a lot of carbonlights, Is a carbonlight really that much better than the rest?
