Not Really Getting The Jig
I fish a jig just like I would fish a T-Rigged creature or craw, however I feel like I fish it a bit slower. What color of T-Rigged plastics do you use? I rarely use anything black unless its night time. I tend to use greens browns and oranges. I am not sure how much the color is making a difference, but I feel much more comfortable with a green pumpkin color compared to blacks. I would say just keep going, try hitting lay downs as much as possible, slow down a bit and drag that joker a bit more. Once you get comfortble with it, it will become your new best friend. My favorite jig as of late is a Hart jig that bass pro had in a bin for $1.50. Its a geen pumpkin and ble Okachobee Craw jig. I ended up getting 20. That color is my new favorite color. If you can find that color witha green pumpkin rage craw, give it a go

heck yes, just make sure you have a horizontal line tie to hook the split ring to.

7'6" Mh Villain Revisited.
Test away. you will find something that will make you enjoy that rod. Have you tried a big chatterbait? And I have a veritas and it is a stiff rod, but I am starting to like the stiffness more and more.

9 Foot Rod
Good Grief, thats a monster of a rod. I would think it would be good for big swimbaits, maybe the A rig?

Backlashing With Lighter Weight Lures
The thing I have noticed is the harder I cast the more backlashes I get which will mean that your smaller finesse lures will backlash quite a bit more backlashes. I feel like the larger lures I dont feel I am throwing as hard which results in a smoother feel of the cast and fewer backlashes. That may just be me though. When I throw something finesse, like 1/4 and under, I will typically use a spinning rod/reel.

Moving Tackle Question Please Help
I dont see why you would get rid of it. Fish are not going to be living 20 years, so maybe the baits you used 20 years ago will be something completely new to the fish in lakes and rivers today. I would keep it and try it out. If it worked back then, it should work now.

Sealing Up Hollow Body Frogs
I caught a fish the other day on a Spro Jr. Bronze eye and the whole frog flew up the line while the hook and everything stayed back with the fish. After taking 5 minutes to get it back together it takes on a bunch of water. Can't find a new hole. Either way, I have to squeeze that puppy every cast or two or it will start to dive under a few inches.

Tackle Bags
I have an old LL Bean Delux backpack that holds a bunch of stuff. You can pick one up for 39.99 which is kinda pricy but LL Bean has a lifetime warrenty, so if the zipper ever goes bad, you can get a new one.

Rage Craw "bama Bug"
Im just going with what Big O told me. I caught a gaint on a Rage Lobster in June Bug and im all out now. Looked all over for craws and lobsters, couldnt find any. I asked Big O and he informed me that they discontinued the color June Bug. That may just be for craws and Lobsters though

Frogs
ive trimmed up to an inch off on some. I tend to trim a little off the smaller frogs, but I like to leave the bigger frogs with full legs. Shorter legs helps create more of a walk the dog action. Some people like it some people prefer chugging it. its up to you.

Rage Craw "bama Bug"
it may be discontinued. They discontinued June Bug

Purple Worms?
old favorites wont stop working. the fish around now were not alive back when people were getting all the fish on old favorites like the purple worm, so it may be something I need to try. I typically use green pumpkin, watermelon or something like that. I need to go get some of the 7" Purple Manns Jelly Worms

Crawfish
Thats a bright craw. Get yourself some pearl white rage craws and use an orange sharpie and you can probably get a nice color that is similar while also keeping the white belly that the craw probably has

New Confidence Baits
i have caught a few fish on frogs, but never really had confidence. That is all I brought the other day. Going to do it another couple of times too until I feel confident I can get bites and hook up with those fish

Making A Spinnerbait A Better Thumper.

St. Croix Mojo Bass Or Garcia Veritas Or Garcia Vendetta?
There are alot of people who have had the Veritas break, but Abu does have a 3 year warrenty for it. And my 7' MH is very stiff, but to me its perfect for jigs or T-Rigging soft Plastics

St. Croix Mojo Bass Or Garcia Veritas Or Garcia Vendetta?
Veritas is much more sensitive than the Vendetta. I love my veritas, and my Vendetta isnt too bad. Havent tried the Mojo, but heard good things
