  1. I listen to Jacko all the time! Loved the series he did with John Stryker Meyer (Tilt) about MAC-V-SOG. ?
  2. That's the key ?
  3. How y'all are? ?
  4. I buy it by the gallon My wife uses it cleaning the bathrooms & kitchen. Cleans grease splatter easily. I use to clean anything outdoors. Between the times I totally disassemble my reels I take a paper plate, spray some on it, then take a q-tip & clean everything external.
  5. I have 2 Cardiff 100s, more than enough line compasity for your intended purpose. Just beware with only 9.5 # of drag you will only be able to land small fish!
  6. Awesome all purpose cleaner, $1.25 at Dollar General
  7. Tom Mann was asked why he made so many lures in so many different colors. He answered catch the angler, a bass has never put a penny in my pocket.
  8. 1/4-3/4 or 1/4-1 oz is all ya need for Texas Rigs.
  9. This is why I don't give my rods names! If I throw a chatterbait on my jig rod it doesn't get confused! My favorite Worm/Jig rod was a Shimano Crucial 6' 10" Medium Heavy X-Fast...it was listed as a spinnerbait rod. Now y'all may understand why I put a reel on the rod, string it up, put a lure on it before I buy it.
  10. When I hear guys complaining about how heavy today's combos are, I just grin & shake my head. They ain't got a clue!
  11. In my opinion you really don't need a heavy rod. If notice Falcon doesn't list many medium heavy. The Amistad is rated for 1/2-1 1/2 oz, you ain't throwing anything that heavy.
  12. Falcon's rating system is a little weird. CC-6-1610 Head Turner 6' 10" Heavy Moderate Fast
  13. It's gotta be both, how they feel together is very important to me. I started with this awkward combo!
  14. You are correct on the original, Hugh Rinkle got the mold from Bob, renamed it the Rinky Dink, when Hugh quit making them Wahoo brought them out again as the Wing Ding & somewhere in there Norman brought them out as the Knockoff.
  15. Give me a sack of worms, 3/0 straight shank round bend hooks, 1/8-1/4 oz weights & I'm good to go!
  16. I ain't never had drag slip on the hook set, very few slipped drag while fighting & then it was only a turn or two of the spool. The only time I've had fish take a decent amount of drag was catching Bull Redfish in the 25-30# range.
  17. Understanding the spawn Ken Cook & Shaw Grigsby Ken Cook probably understood the spawn better than anyone I ever talked to. Shaw Grigsby is one of the best sight fishermen ever. He taught me the 3 tap theory. Shaw would talk your ears off on any fishing related story. On a few occasions I met Gary Yamamoto, Ben Matsubu, & Takahiro Omori at the cafes and boat launches around Toledo Bend and Rayburn.
  18. Me! I gonna throw a Lizard watermelon neon Rat-L-Trap Gold Tennessee Shad-39G
  19. Falcon Lowrider LFC-7H Lizard Dragger 7' Heavy Fast
