Justbass11
Just a simple question, where are used to clean the seats? I don’t want mildew and stuff to get all over it. Thanks for your input
Super User Jig Man Posted January 22 Super User Share Posted January 22 A regular cleaning with most any product like McGuires detailer or even Armor all will keep it off.

Thanks for your input Is the boat kept inside or outside? I never had a problem with mildew if the boat was kept inside and dry. Outside and damp is a problem. If I had to keep seats outside I would cover them or take them off and store them inside before they became mildew or wet.
Super User WIGuide Posted January 23 Super User Share Posted January 23 I'd say either mild soap and water (Ivory or Dawn Original dishwashing soap), Vinyl Finish Vinyl Cleaner, Fantastik, or 303 Cleaner Protectant would be your best options. Super User gimruis Posted January 23 Super User Share Posted January 23 Boat Bling Vinyl Sauce. Spray on, wipe off using a microfiber towel. Removes water spots, stains, etc. No water required. I also use Hot Sauce, Toon Sauce, and Condition Sauce made by the same company.
Super User MN Fisher Posted January 23 Super User Share Posted January 23 Diluted Simple Green - spray on, wipe off ^ Does what those fancy label things do but at a much lower cost.

Alex from GA
Don't armor all your dirt bike seat. Your boat seat will probably be too slippery also. 1

I use it on my GTO’s tires, seats, rubber trim, floor mats etc. It doesn’t attract dust and it leaves a non sticky or slick finish and leaves a low satin look on anything you put it on. Between the times I totally disassemble my reels I take a paper plate, spray some on it, then take a q-tip & clean everything external.
