  1. If it ain't Diawia or Shimano you're wasting your money! A well maintained Abu Garcia, Diawia, Lew's, or Shimano will serve any angler well for years.
  2. Love me some jig bite!
  3. Water temperatures I don't care, it doesn't get cold enough here to freeze. Air temperatures, 18° & driving sleet, 92° at 2 °clock am.
  4. The difference between us & them is time on the water. Even before they became Pros they put more time on the water than 90% of us. Most Pros started with Zebcos like us & worked their way up like us.
  5. @Geography 101 the Hyper-Lift® Duck Boat has the same hull design of their high performance bass hull. In a 16' boat! ?
  6. My next tin boat will be Xpress's Hyper-Lift® Duck Boat. https://xpressboats.com/hunting/hyper-lift-duck/

    They stayed, you moved...correct?
  8. Can't stand an EVA grip period! According to Diawia's website the Tatula ® Bass Rod now has a split grip. Ain't seen one yet not even in pictures. The reel seat on the Tatula ® Bass Rod is a strong selling point in my opinion. The Tatula TTU711MHXB is in my opinion an ideal jig rod.
  9. That Alweld runs 42-43 mph with a 40 hp Tahotsu. Don't be afraid of bigger waters, I fish Toledo Bend in that rig. You just gotta be smart, I know every public boat launch on the lake & simply trailer close to where I wanna fish.
  10. The two I have the most experience with Xpress & Alweld. I personally prefer welded over riveted. 16' length with a 48-50" bottom width minimum. I'm currently running a Alweld 1652VJT Hull: Mod-V with 2 1/2" performance tunnel with Nautilus SX Smart trim tabs.
  11. Personally I would look into tin boats.

    Pretty much it!
  13. 1988 Skeeter Starfire 175 on a tandem trailer. New transom, stringers, carpet, and flooring Up grading to a 2005 175 Mercury. Former member Jack (fishfordollars) Yates.
  14. @Back to Front 10-15' first thing in the morning, 18-22' later in the day. Alabama Rig, 6th Sense C15 or 500DD, & Carolina Rig.
  15. I always embed the hook on everything but Ribbits, Flukes, or Senkos. If y'all can't drive a hook point though a piece of plastic y'all need better hooks or better hook setting techniques.
  16. Ain't but one source of truth!
  17. Stanley's Baby Vibrashaft None can match the quality & performance
  18. Live in the south ? Winters here it doesn't freeze often, with temperatures in the mid 30s to lower 40s. But it rains & the wind howls! Our weather changes constantly, we can have all that above in the morning & by afternoon shorts, t-shirt, flip flops.
  19. I throw 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2 jigs most of the time. I thrown all 3 on mono, fluoro, & braid; in my opinion there's no difference in how they fall on slack line or a controlled fall. I like braid in vegetation but not wood. Absolutely can't stand Fluorocarbon! If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got. I have zero issues feeling bites or landing fish on monofilament.
  20. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
  21. Glean: • extract (information) from various sources. • collect gradually and bit by bit. Y'all need to learn how
