though it changes over time, right now.... im stuck with wendy's being my fav. the usual is 2 double stacks and 1 crispy chicken with a cup of water.. simple and tasty!!!

you'll definitely hear a ton of senko hype!!! personally, they are apparently the best bait that i have never used!!! my choice are charlie's brand baits, pretty much tried every variety... and love them all!!! id say junebug is my fav. color scheme, no matter what style that its in.

i fish from shore as well..... im not really prepared to lose all the stuff that i throw either!!! but, it still happens from time to time... as said above (which i will agree with)... when i switched to braid, it made a huge difference.... started with suffix 10/40.... now using suffix 8/30.... i wrap the line around the base of the rod 4 or 5 times, then hold it in place with my shirt.... keep the rod straight, and just walk away with it!!!!!! i have straightened out hooks, taken mass piles of cattails, pulled up fallen branches from the depths, and even pulled up someone else's line.... that was attached to a tree limb (and got their old lure out of the deal) ;D... since the switch to the braid ive only lost one lure!!!!!!!

i had that happen as well with a saros of mine, except mine constantly clicked without ever going away. as for the problem, i dont know??? it was warrantied by sports authority still, and i took it back (although it did not seem to effect the reels abilities any).... after the associate heard the noise, he just swapped it out for me.

im going to have to call that a myth as well (at least from my experience).... ive been using braid for some time now, in fresh and salt...... and even with long battles with some hard running fish in the salt, there are no signs of wear in my guides... (on any of my poles for that matter, and they are all braid)... the rods aren't top notch either, to say the least!!!

agreed, while its not my all time favorite.... i do love the baby 1 minus... i have it in baby bass, and it produces quite well in all of the shallow ponds that i fish.

Anyone have some input on these baits??? I was close to buying one earlier today, but held off.... they look nice, and the slow sink is a plus... just wonder how well they move and such?

as for sink rates on the bbz 1 of the 2 i own... one is blue herring floater the other is dirty shad slow sink.... after owning both, i would just suggest getting the slow sink... it gets the most use from me, you can keep it at the top like the floater, or you have the option to run it under the surface a little..... its much more versitile if only buying one. ***edit*** just noticed you said about the same thing dockmaster.... so, i concur with your statement.

for your $$ range, i would go with the spro bbz 1. if you want to go higher ($$), i recomend mattlures hardgill series... but in your range, the spro is the ticket.... i own 2, and they are amazing baits.
