no, been tryin to work on getting a john boat for a while..... but things arent panning out for me right now. (about to start school again, and kinda strapped) so im stuck to shore, and wading in the salt as well.

I was out today with my 7' fish eagle II spinning rod (md. lite)....... and a first for me... i broke my rod.. it was right at the tip. I called Cabella's and told the CS representative exactly what happened, "it was my fault, i gave the rod a quick hard slap to get some weeds off....and pop, there goes the tip" i just called to see if anything could be done, knowing it was my fault that the rod broke..... but it doesnt hurt to ask, and sure enough, a replacement is being shipped right now.... and at no charge, once they recieve and process my return.... and as for shipping fees... they waived them. nice company, eh.

if or when that may happen, i hope that Silva mops the floor with GSP........... I cant stand GSP, dont know why, i just hate him for no apparent reason........ he reminds me of Jean Claude VanDame, in fact my nickname for GSP varies between "timecop" "lionheart" or "bloodsport"....although i like "timecop" the best........ if i saw him in person, id have to slug him on general principal........................ then proceed to have the crap kicked out of me, while he broke all of my bones simultaneously!!

small beatle spin, or the strike king bitsy minnow (i believe that is what its called).... both always work very nice for me.

gonna have to back the costa's here as well. love mine, and never had a problem with them.

agreed, i love the topwater bite myself..... but if the fish dont want something on the surface, then its just gonna straight up not work. ........and i have yet to ever even have a single bite on my crazy crawler as well, it just collects dust at this point, while my old mystic pop-r gets lots of attention!

where are you at in orlando???? i fish many local spots here all the time, and make frequent wade trips out to the titusville area in the indian river. good to have ya, BTW, im in winter park.

how light you wanna go?? i have a shimano sahara 500 size and love the thing, its amazing!!!! ive got suffix braid (2/6) on it with a Fish eagle II 5'6" UL..... its a little powerhouse of a reel that wont let you down..... ...here's my proof.....

not the 100 range.... but about 129.... the shimano saros, and has a sealed drag and AR-B.... i own 2, both 3000 size.... they see the salt all the time, and i love them....

Cabella's CS is great, they'll prob. take it back no problem.... i recently bought among other things, a pflueger medalist from them...... took it out for a day, and simply didnt like it.... call the number, told them exactly what was up...... and they just said send it back... no problems.... money has been reissued on my CC.... done deal.

he's a stand up guy who supports his product, hands down!!! i own 2 hardgills, one male BG floater, and one redear sunfish floater........their amazing to say the least, and of the highest quality that i have come around.

fixed..... to each his own my man!!! i love my spinning gear, and i can understand how others love their B/C's as well. its all in what you want to use, and how you feel using it...... they both catch fish equally as well in the right hands.
