  7. havent had one personally, but i do have a buddy who uses one....... seems really nice for the price, and has held up really well for him...... id say its a great gift....... give it some time on the water now ;D

  10. personally i love catching one on the first cast........ (doesnt happen all that often, but has many times in the past) whether its a good or bad ***, its sure is one heck of a way to start the day

  13. ahhhh, good job..... some of my best fish have come from golf course ponds...... Martin County golf course in particular.

  15. just heard about it, eh...... huh..known of this one for some time..................... cow pastures are a dangerous place to start the journey in too, dont start till you leave.
  16. if you want to just snag them, just put on a bullet weight with a bare treble under it. works every time. cast over the top of them, reel in until tension, swing for the fences. i dont do it myself anymore, but as a child i resorted to this many of times.

  22. it will work perfect for you...... i have a much older model that i used to use all the time, and its held its own against most all inshore fish around..... although it doesnt get much use anymore since ive switched to all spinning gear in the last 10 yrs or so.. and you wont go wrong with the allstar either.
  23. i feel your pain....... on one outing about 3 months ago i was using a fat free shad, and subsequently caught tons of painted bream and only a few bass, the ratio was likely around 4 to 1.... and i wondered the same thing, "why the heck are these things trying to eat this" their darn mouths could just barely fit the hook inside.

  25. i have used them in fresh as well......... they preform just fine.
