Live Well Issue
Depends all on what livewell controls you have. Odds are you have a Flowrite system. Take a look on your boat and refer to this document. Basically tells you how it will work. https://www.flow-rite.com/sites/all/files/file/pdf-marine/prod-livewell_control_systems.pdf

How's The South Florida Bite? Holiday, Big L Etc..
I'll either be at Lox or Holiday tomorrow. Probably Lox as I think there is a tourney at Holiday. Weather is looking like it'll be halfway decent for the first half of the day. Just plugged in the charger, topped off the oil, etc etc. I'm itching to go get on a fish or two.

Lebron Is Coming Home
Sad to see him leave, but I understand why he went home. Can't blame the guy at all. So far other than one clown, everybody is being pretty cool about it. Most people aren't surprised and are dealing with it perfectly. I hope the best for him while I feel sorry for him. He is so darn talented that almost unrealistic goals get put on him by fans. Micky sent out a nice message on twitter, Lebron thanked Miami. All's well. Bosh is about to sign, Wade is waiting to let Riley do some work so he can leave some room for flexibility. We might not have LeBron, but Miami will still put a good team on the floor. Certainly good enough to contend in the East. Miami has a record amount of money to throw around right now. It's, at the moment, looking like they're going after some decent people now. Will be fun to watch how everything shapes up. Personally as a Heat fan, I'm excited to see what happens. That being said, if Cleveland doesn't win it this year, things could get ugly up there. Sadly most of those fans are already getting ready for a parade. I don't think they remember that the team they have kinda stinks. I'm not sold on Irving yet. Somebody has to be "the guy" on a bad team. They won 30 games last year. The Cavs have an uphill battle right now if they don't sign another big name or two. Even then it could be a stretch to win it all. LeBron is great, but he still needs help. Going to be an interesting season. Glad I got to enjoy 4 years of watching an unreal team play together. Shame I won't be able to see him in the team facilities anymore. He never really was a "Miami" guy though. I don't mean to say that he didn't want to be here or play here though. The lifestyle down here just didn't work out for him and his family. Him leaving for the reasons his did is admirable. While certainly my situation was different from his, when I was gone from the place I called home; once I had the chance to go back I jumped on it. There really is no place like home.

Braid Or Fluorocarbon For Fishing Weeds.
IMO 20 pound is just too light for a casting reel. It tends to dig into itself because of the diameter. the smallest I use on casting reels is 30. For the most part though I go with 50 unless it's for flipping/pinching gear. Rod length is a personal choice really. As long as it fits into the power and action that you're looking for.

Se Florida & Navionics
Just wondering which chip you guys that fish both fresh and salt are using. Getting ready to move my saltwater boat north a bit. Instead of fishing down south out of Homestead I'm going to be bringing it up to the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood area to keep it closer to the house. Down south I can run around blindfolded. Up north I'm darn near clueless. Looking for something that covers all of the SE portion of the state at least as well as Okeechobee and the Bahamas. And pros or cons between the different price points on the premium, platinum, etc. Would like to be able to plot courses at home on the computer as well. Appreciate it fellas.

Chalk it up to a lesson learned and get on to fixing it. I'm sure you'll have it up and running in no time.

Tungsten Vs. Lead
Harder, denser material. An ounce of feathers may weigh the same as an ounce of steel, but how much bigger is that ounce of feathers as opposed to the steel. The difference is noticed more and more as the weight increases. IMO the pros outweigh the cons in the lead versus tungsten debate.

Braid Or Fluorocarbon For Fishing Weeds.
In that case, go braid. You can always add a leader if you think you need it.

How Many Of Yall Always Start With A Topwater?
Almost every time I'm on the water. For the most part I'm out at daybreak. Nothing makes me smile more than a top water strike right as the sun is coming up.

Problem Casting With New Rod
X2 Hard to really add much more than that. Sounds like you're fairly new to casting gear. I'm sure you'll get accustomed to the rod in no time. Just make sure you're not trying to toss a lure that is too light to load up the rod.

How's The South Florida Bite? Holiday, Big L Etc..
Ah sweet deal. If the weather cooperates I'm probably going out there this weekend. Possibly on Thursday if I can sneak away from work. Glad I didn't try yesterday or the day before. Those storms came in much earlier than I expected.

Heading Down To Okeechobee This Weekend
Awesome. Looks like you guys had a blast!

How's The South Florida Bite? Holiday, Big L Etc..
Was the water deep enough to run around in the flats, Mike? Last time I was out there it was basically choked off.

Livewell Problem
No problem. . That's a handy little document I stumbled across one day.

Livewell Problem
Should be a Flow-Rite System 4. https://www.flow-rite.com/sites/all/files/file/pdf-marine/prod-livewell_control_systems.pdf You may need to clean out the valves or flush it out really good. That PDF will get you started on its operation though. As far as the switches go, I'm not familiar with that boat.

Florida Guys Check In Here.
Yeah it got nasty. A second one blew through the area a little while ago that I should have taken a picture of. Just some awesomely powerful weather today. Mother Nature is just so darn cool.

Added Some Lighting
Never thought to do it with a router. Probably makes it a heck of a lot quicker and easier.

Lets Talk Fishing Shirts
I'm with you, Lou. Never really had a major issue with mine.

Punching Lilys?
Exactly. I'll only add, don't be afraid to use the heavy weights in the pads also. Has been a good way to get reaction bites down here for the last few months.

Added Some Lighting
Looks good, Slone. Been tempted to do the bow rail lightning myself.

Florida Guys Check In Here.
Hit Holiday up early this morning. Decided to stay close to home when I watched the weather. Found a decent stretch of fish before a squall ran me out. Some fierce lightning and wind came up when I was down south. It was moving north in a hurry. Glad I had my rain gear handy. Water has come up significantly since I was last out there. Probably able to get back into the marshes now if you're careful.
