  1. I've been really waiting for that to come out. I had a blast playing GRAW and GRAW2.
  2. Thats basically what I was looking at. Probably will pull double duty as my frog rod for really nasty areas.
  3. I don't know, or care what you were thinking. But man what I wouldn't give to have seen that. ;D ;D
  4. Went out earlier today for a little while. The fishing has picked back up a bit in my neck of the woods. Yesterday and the day prior were really slow. Third day of stable weather probably helped a bit. It is nice and comfortable outside with it being so overcast right now. Was catching fish on everything. Swimbaits, worms, flipping grass, and jigs. Deep cranking some of the ledges here caught a few nice ones also. Besides the fish stuck up in the shallow hydrilla, all the others were caught just a bit deeper on the drop offs in around 11-14 FOW.
  5. Oh, I completely understand. I'm not going to go overboard with an expensive rod and a giant round reel. I'll probably pick up a mid priced swimbait rod and use a low pro reel. Nothing crazy. Most of the better smaller hard bodies seem to be in the 2 ounce range. I'm not sure how comfortable I am throwing that on my MH flippin sticks that are only rated to 1 ounce. I'm sure they can handle it, but having the extra room is nice. Plus I want to step up to some of the 6" lures like the BBZ at some point. I think those are roughly 2.5 ounces. My paddletail rod aint going to sling something that size out.
  6. nice. im off tomorrow but im a bit south of where you are. im in cutler bay (33157). did you bring any tackle? Oh man, 33157. Thats my old zip code when I used to live down south in Perrine. Home sweet home!
  7. Brickell is basically downtown Miami, Snook. Roughly I-95 and 8th. That whole area. Kind of near Vizcaya. It's a heck of a trip from up where you are.
  8. I didn't want it after I watched the first videos and read the first reviews. I'll probably rent it at some point, otherwise forget it. Black Ops and the new BFBC2 DLC are on my hitlist in the near future.
  9. Ride in a tube....stuck in a mine... Give me the ride up a tube. 28" isn't all that bad, I've squeezed into smaller spaces. If thats what it took for me to get the heck out of a mine, no problem. Hell, I'd squeeze through a garden hose if I had the chance at seeing the sun again...
  10. Wow, 50. You just never know when you're going to go. Live each day to the fullest. RIP, Donna.
  11. I use a Crucial flippin stick (7'6" MH) as my primary frog rod. Love it. Has plenty of "give" in the tip before a rock solid backbone.
  12. I'm looking forward to the day that I buy a larger rod to throw swimbaits on. I've been wanting to get my hands on one of those Mattlures Red-Eared sunfish for a while.
  13. SNOOKI WANT SMOOSH SMOOSH!!!!1111

  15. Man, thats just a sad mental image. lol ;D
  16. 3.5 Lake Fork Magic Shad in Tilapia (Ridiculous drop shot lure) Zoom Meathead or Swamp Crawler in Green Weenie Wacky Rigged Senko Bass Magic Shakey Tail in Silver Shad
  17. Kind of hard to say they like one more than the other. There are times when the bass will key in on baitfish, other times they'll be keyed on craws.
  18. I'd buy a few new boats with 2.8 Mill. Nice new bass boat. I'd replace my older offshore boat with something larger, maybe something in the 42-50 foot range with a ridiculously large fuel capacity. A vacation house up near Okeechobee would work also. Everything else would go to the kids college fund and investments. Oh, and an old bottle of Ron Zacapa Centenario. Not the new blend. Mmmm.
  19. Oh man. Thats comedy gold.
  20. This should be an awesomely terrible game to watch. Old fart Farve vs. Overrated Romo. I'm expecting at least four or five INT's in this one.
  21. About on par with the Citica and base Revo. Solid reels. I've beat mine to death. I fish just about every day. Other than doing some regular maintenance, I haven't had a problem with a single one. I've used them in freshwater and in saltwater and haven't had a complaint. Although I don't use the magnetic brakes on them all that much anymore, it is nice to have on those windy days. Normally it's just the centrifugal brakes and I'm good.
  22. Die in a fire. Glad you got back safely. Seems like dead batteries are becoming contagious...
  23. Sprayed Grass, Smoke w/black and red flake, Green Gobi, and Waterbug are my favorites. I've used just about all of them and have had success.
  24. Oh man... rofl
