  3. I've never used a leader on braid, but I want to for some applications this year. I was wondering what pound fluoro leader would you use for 20 or 30 pound braid. thanks
  4. i would only use a swivel if I was using a fluke. Otherwise I would go line to line

  7. I got about 30 seconds in, then I threw up in my mouth >
  8. As humans we have our hands on a lot of stuff. I know your hands can transfer scent to your bait. For people who smoke or dip, dunking your hands in water doesn't get the bad scent off. Besides spray on scent, megastrike, etc...what can we use on our hands while in the boat to not transfer scent ? I heard of rubbing baking soda on your hands somewhere... Any thoughts? Thanks
  9. For wacky rig, I use a 2/0 or 3/0 EWG Gamagatsu. Size of hook depends on size of bait.
  10. Dont think of it as losing hair,... think of it as gaining forehead !!! ;D ;D

  19. Happy Birthday, and Happy St. Patty's Day !!!
  20. If you use a marker to touch up braid, here's a tip. Find a sharpie with a wide or chisel tip. Take a razorblade, and cut a small "v" into the marker tip. Then all you do is put the line in the "v",hold the lure or end of the line and run the marker up and down. It's a lot easier and faster than a regular sharpie. ;D
  21. I'd like to catch a new PB, and get better at drop shot, topwater frogs (hollow body), and plastics in general. Also to fish at more lakes in my area.
  22. I would try a texas rigged lizard or worm, or a tube. If the water is still cold, remember to fish slow
  23. In my experience , I feel as thought I don't get as many fish using red hooks, so I don't use them. But if it works for you keep at it.
  24. I personally would not buy the truck. The owner told you problems and damage that you could find out on your own. Now... if the truck had that much damage, what isn't he telling you about the truck?
