That's an AWESOME sight!!! A chartreuse/green with gold blades is a great shallow water/wood cover spinnerbait. It's also really easy to see.

First off, fish don't fead, they feed ;D If there's some shad, there's usually a bunch. They school up and the bass go crazy. Otherwise it can be bluegill, minnows, perch, etc.

The ONLY reason I didn't go back and get more was because my mom was waiting outside, and I didn't want her to have to wait any longer

Today at Dick's there was a guy looking for some fishing stuff, and had an employee helping him. Before I get started, I DO NOT work at Dick's. So the guy was asking questions about what kind of stuff he needed, and every question he asked the employee was like "Umm, I don't know." After about the 10th question with that same response, I got pretty fed up, and stepped in and asked what the guy was looking for. It turns out he does a lot of saltwater fishing, and was looking for a good, strong, cheap rod. An Ugly Stik was the first thing that came to mind. ;D So I showed him which one would be the best, and he asked me a couple other questions. Meanwhile the employee is giving me a complete death stare. Why? If anything I saved his job. The guy was getting pretty ticked that he couldn't answer anything, let alone make eye contact. Me and the guy talked for about ten minutes, and he was asking what would be good for croaker and spot. I think it's complete BS that Dick's hires people that have no idea what they're talking about. Another cool story. Say what you want about Strike King Shaw's Series, but I think that they are more than worth it for the price. They're $3 a bag, so I grabbed three bags of the 7 inch Shakey head worms (basically a Trick Worm) in Watermelonseed, and a bag of 5" Salty Stiks, in Carolina Pumpkin/Chartreuse tail. I also grabbed a pack of Fat Ikas in Black/Blue Flake, per request from RW. So I get to the counter thinkin' it's gonna be about $20, and the grand total was 11 bucks. Turns out the Strike Kings were .97 cents a bag. Man, if I had known that I would have cleared out the whole rack. They're pretty good quality, with a TON of salt.

Thought about it? I'm sure they're probably developing a model as we speak. The Senko is too good and too popular of a bait for them to not produce one. I REALLY hope they are. Not to steal the thread, but does anyone else think that companies should sell bulk bags of plastics too?

Mine (so far) are either a Zoom Trick Worm or a....... Zoom Trick Worm. For some reason, I just flat out catch big fish on these. The Red Sapphire is my favorite color.

Hahaha I was fishing from land, and when I saw it, it looked a LOT bigger than it actually was. So I just pulled it up on shore and it started flopping around on the ground.

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a decent spinning rod (preferably in the $50-$90 range) for using Senkos. As of this moment I am using a 6' Medium, and I just feel like I'm not getting a powerful enough hookset. My favorite way to fish a Senko is weedless/weightless. I am thinking a Mojo 6'6" M, with an extra-fast tip would be good. What kind of rod do you use for Senkos?

You're right, all these fish were between 1 1/2 and 1 pound ;D I bought a Rapala Digital Scale two days ago!

Really? I have a scale, but can normally guess accurately. Maybe I should have mentioned that I'm 6'1", 200 lbs? I'm being completely serious, I'm stumped. I think I need to start holding the fish out more towards the camera. Now I'm convinced the fish are being dwarfed by my body. I really wouldn't lie about the weight of the fish!

I know, I know. Some of the fish don't look like what I said. Well, I'm pretty accurate in my guessing. Now that I think about it, most of the fish were weighed. I'm generally pretty accurate though. Also, I don't hold the fish out towards the camera, which I should probably do I really feel like some of the fish I catch don't get the justice they deserve

Bought a Berkley 50 lb. Digital Scale last night, and it seems to be pretty accurate. I can't wait to test this baby out on a nice'un. That reminds me... at what point do you way a fish? My standard is usually anything that looks to be 5+ pounds.

Hahaha trust me, I've done my fare share of convincing:) I showed her one of the baits, explained how they get torn up after a fish or two, then told her that I could be getting double the quantity for the same price. In-steps my dad, who was like "okay sounds good to me, we're ordering online", followed by my mom saying "oh so your making the decisions now", followed by my dad saying, "in nineteen years of marriage, this is the first decision I can ever remember making on my own."

Actually, I did the math and explained it to my madre. For $24, I bought 44 sticks. If I had ordered from ***, for the same $24 I could have gotten 100 sticks. That's more than twice the amount of baits. Ridiculous. I am now allowed to order online.

I got some today (2/0) for wacky rigging Trick Worms. I've heard the hookset with these doesn't need to nearly be the eye-crossing, ground shaking steel-setters that some types of plastic-riggings require. Is this true? I've also heard that with Octopus/Circle style hooks, you just start reeling in when you get a strike. Is this true?
