  1. Wait till you throw a Curado
  2. Any large Ribbontail worm. I have found Zoom Ol' Monsters to be my favorite. I use either a 4/0 or 5/0 straight shank or EWG hook. Just use a Texas rig with a bullet weight, either pegged or unpegged depending on the conditions you are fishing.
  3. Paca and Rage Craw
  4. Another vote for the Mann's baby 1 minus...around the 3 feet range by favorite crank to throw is a DT fat3
  5. You guys are over analyzing what I was saying. Again, I was answering the question in regards to shaky head fishing...let's get the thread back in track
  6. If want to get technical then yes you can finesse fish anything, but I was directing my answer to the question about shaky head weight. IMO, when shaky head fishing the lightest weight you can use at that particular time has been the most productive in most cases.
  7. Detroit1, The bait monkey will do that to you
  8. Like Hooligan said, that is way too heavy to be considered finesse fishing. The rule of thumb is to go as light as you can, weather permitting.
  9. That's not the reaction I was hoping for
  10. The closest thing to a swim jig head would be a grass jig but they tend to tilt. Luke others have said, they are designed to run and true and slide through vegetation. I would invest in some NorthStar swim jigs
  11. I'm looking at purchasing a pair of Wiley X Airbournes in the green tinted lens, but have never owned a pair in this color. Does anyone have experience with either this pair of glasses or other green tint? Good all around color? Thanks, VC
  12. I'm doing a complete strip down, I was just wondering if it is safe to do a pre-grease/oil application to get all the sediment off.
  13. Power fishing = 7'6" Dobyns 765 flip Finesse = 7'2" MH Cumara spinning
  14. Is it safe to use with reels? Thanks, VC
  15. Gander Mountain does as well..Great deal on great products
  16. Like everyone road has said, they are a great bait. For the most part they replaced my senkos, they are less expensive and catch just as many or more fish
  17. Is MN that much different then the state that borders us that shall remain nameless? I'm jk, but seriously I havent fished in WI much but when I have it's pretty loaded with grass/vegetation.
  18. I would save the money and buy a Dobyns Savvy. I have a few champions and LOVE them, but I have also heard great things about the Savvy series.
  19. In the spring, it is hard to beat a rabbit frog. I like to burn them to get a reaction strike.
  20. Paca chunk or rage chunk...NorthStar also makes a really awesome trailer that is perfect in cold water situations.
  21. Weightless Zoom finesse worm in the green weenie color
  22. I agree. As much luck as I have had with the lizard, the action could be much better, the tail barely kicks!
  23. I don't think the big show is considered in the f2 line, but it was always been one of my favorite worms. I also like the kickin tail lizard, great pitchin bait.
  24. There are some days in the spring when they destroy lipless cranks, but other days they are just a great search bait to throw to figure out a pattern for that day. I'm itchin for some the ice to melt!!
