I have had some plastics melt over the years while siting in my garage. Most of it though was older stuff. Who wants to take the chance? not me

My local fishing store is usally slightly higher than Bass Pro etc ( $5 or $10 per $100 ) They had Fenwick ARAMID's on sale for $66 I think it also said AVD or AVG? Would that have been a decent buy? Said orig $120 Need help fast before they are gone if a good deal

ok tight wad numero uno broke down and bought a package of Senkos. We'll see what happens when I get a chance to use them. From the bank with spinning gear should I fish them weightless or with a weight to cast further?

I've noticed that some sellers don't like money orders but take checks and all kinds of other stuff. Why no money orders? I figured they'd be good as gold Maybe people write bad checkks to cover the money order? Seems like that would be a good way to be wearing B&W stripes with big numbers!

Too dangerous to take my word on this. I've heard that when you get really dehydrated that electrolytes is the big key. Electrolytes are found i sports drinks. If dangerously low on them water can actualy wash away the only ones keeping you alive. Conceit the fact that your buddy came out with Gatorade vs water might have saved your life. Like I said don't take my word on this ask someone who is trained.

Avid I see your point but for me personaly not just Bonds but the Mcguire deal, Sosa, Palmiero and others turns my stomach. I for one have taken my money elsewhere. Unless enough people do it won't make a difference but maybe more will. I'll take my money up to the Little League park instead. I can buy popcorn, hot dogs & drinks for the kids for less than it costs for MLB parking. Just my preference with my money not my place to "tell" anyone else wht to do. In "my book" they cheated and I don't care to watch them.

I can see both points on this. It would be great if people just conducted themselves with class at al times. Guess that is not in the cards for some, plus how do yo draw that line? Someone can disagree but it would be great if they did it without being a jerk about it.

Trust me the kids ( unfortuntely ) in high school are taking them already. Sad but def true. I've watched and several states are starting to test in high school. I' guessing that they won't have quite as much access to the doping stuff. We'll see how it shakes out.

I like most all of them except Scott and Roland Martin. I watch them anyway but they get on my nerves. Shw Grigsby is a great guy I'm sure but I don't need all the screaching and stuff. In Fisherman, Babe Winkelman, Bass Pros, Wisconsin Waters and Woods, Bill Dance, Hank Parker all of them can't watch them enough. ( You hunters are statin to tick me off ! ). Used to be a show on when I was a teenager had an older guy on who always wore a hat. He reminded me and looked a lot like my grandfather and I still have Gramp's Johnson reel. He promoted Johnon products a lot who was he & or the show? Now that I think about it we kind of get ripped off I think. TV shows sell commercials to make money so do fishing shows. But espec the Martins's & shaw etc lay it on thick during the show. Do they really need to do that when advertisers already pay for commercials? They ought to be commercial free!

Downsize! Not as easy to do with Senkos but downsize on your other stuff

Storm 3in swimbaits, with the flat paddle tail, color doesn't matter Crappie type underhung spinners approx 1/8oz when it gets hot out I downsize to these. Have caught several 4lb bass on them.

Admit it I made you think didn't I ? Has the price of gas altered anyone's fishing plans? Either how far you tow, how often or how far you run on the water? My best lake is around 40mi's so I definately think twice about just running out there.

What kind of extreme rod, size action etc?? I noticed such a big difference in feel and the confidence booster was nice too. i think you notice the most difference when you step into the Loomis and rods of that sort. You get such a sensitive rod that is so light but so strong. why can't they be cheaper ? =P It is a MH rod ( I don't think they list action ). All my other rods are M or ML so that could be some of the difference. Plus a little too oearly to tell.

I jumped from $20 rods to a BPS extreme and can't honestly say that I notice that much difference ( could just be the fisherman ). You guys sure make me want to try a Loomis or Croix premeie as Muddy said someday>>>>

Some good points Matt Too bad we just can't keep him our of the hall for being an @#% hole Maybe the hall should have a character clause reuirement Then again Babe and Ty might have trouble with that one.
