  1. Don't forget the steez reel, that thing owns . I have come to accept the fact that I will never be as cool as those of you who have the jdm core reels with avid rods, use berkley wannabe braid, and compare one six pin reel to another. :'( My feelings are hurt, but I will venture on not knowing the difference of three ounces.
  2. nothing...I'm a little tired of your negativity my friend... seriously, almost all of your posts read as "grump, grump, grump, grump" It's a pretty unique style of rod that offers a new take on how to extract the most sensitivity out of a rod blank. Thanks for the honest answer, that's all I wanted. I only act like a grump grump grump when some people are acting like babies. I don't have time for feelings, or anyone's current emotional state. :
  3. nothing...I'm a little tired of your negativity my friend... some people like to collect all brands and types. or unique stuff..those people are called "enthusiasts" just because it's not your tried and true rod means nothing... I was asking a legitimate question. Get off your box and tell me why this thing is so awesome. Relax, try not to be so emotional. :'(
  4. This will work for any reel. Learn how to tie an arbor knot. Its not very hard but here is the most important thing, trim the leftover before you finish the knot. This will work on every type of line, and reel, and you can see it on youtube if you cant figure out the drawing.
  5. What does a mag touch rod do that my tried and true rods don't?
  6. Boy, you never fail to amuse. Whoops I forgot it might be more comfy on the hands, a couple of bearings, and it has the same six pin brake the citica has. ;D SOS.
  7. I like to catch fish, not make a theater out of it. Tight right baby.
  8. I would pinch pennies for a while to save up for the new curado which is a green citica, or the revo stx that is a dressed up sx model. Go to a national chain that offers a return policy and try everything.
  9. If you want fluorocarbon buy the brand that works best for you. If you want to half *** it, or spool a catfish rig go for the yo zuri or pline.
  10. Nobody ever complains when a certain other japanese company pumps out the same thing year after year, but when a new reel with a fast retrieve debuts it gets spit on.
  11. Just get a mojo, the posters on here say they suck. Do it right.
  12. lmao, you're kidding, right? Have you fished with a steez rod? I have the 7 mh and I can honestly say the mojo feels just like it except for the cork handle. except the steez is like 3oz lighter and way more sensitive 3 ounces? : and more sensitive for $300 : your comparing apples to oranges man...plus a lifetime warranty..ALL fuji components, the aluminum foregrip nut, waaaay more technology is in that steez then the mojo could think of,i to have both and blindfold me and i can tell the HUGE difference between the two thats like saying a corvette is the same, just as good or better then a Ferrari : agreed. The Mojos are blown away by the Avids which are then again blown away by the Legend Tournaments let alone a friggin' Steez. sweet_daddy, are you fishing with mittens on or do you have prosthetic hands? No, and where I fish most men don't need light low profile reels, and a high dollar rod to catch fish.
  13. In my experience no. I use fifty to sixty five lb braid everyday, I also use clear high test fluorocarbon. My catch rate has gone up since I switched to braid, and fluorocarbon.
  14. lmao, you're kidding, right? Have you fished with a steez rod? I have the 7 mh and I can honestly say the mojo feels just like it except for the cork handle. except the steez is like 3oz lighter and way more sensitive 3 ounces? : and more sensitive for $300 :

  16. I'm not fond of the paint job, six pin brakes, but the weight of the reel is nice. I'll stick with the sx, hasn't let me down yet.
  17. The round reel will work if you adjust the brakes. What model do you have?
  18. I have tried the abrazx, and the invizx but the red works great for me. Low memory, doesn't fly off the spool, sensitive, and it will bend worm hooks out of shape before it snaps.
  19. If you want to go under eight feet I would suggest a glass rod, there are many out there so I wont single one out.
  20. I'd give the mojo a try. I tried a bunch of different split grips before I got a mojo. The mojo feels just like my steez and the price cant be beat. If you live near a popular bass lake custom rod shops are popping up all over. You can get a custom built rod made to fit your needs for far less money than the major brands, but it might take more than eight days.
  21. Three bearings, a six pin brake, and it retails for 120 bucks. I can pick up a new c3 for forty bucks less. ;D
