  1. I don't have any fuego's, but I have a few zillions, and one steez that never fail. If you bought it at a big box store return it, if you picked it up at a mom and pops tackle shop your screwed, and in that case you need to find a daiwa certified repair center to fix it.
  2. JDM Core 50Mg7 Thanks. I don't keep up with shimano anymore. Sorry if I offended anyone.
  3. I don't like the brands you are trying, but welcome to the braid bandwagon.
  4. A rhino 6'6 with that awesome glow tip, and a citica e.
  5. A rhino rod would never break, you need that.
  6. Mine work just fine. Please don't make this a carrot stix thing.
  7. x2. If you can afford it, go for the Avid. You won't regret it. And btw, the Citica E is a very fine reel. The citica e is a great entry level reel. Don't see many pro's using it.
  8. I like the six speed reels. Plenty of power, and speed when you need it.
  9. I would be more inclined to punch through the pads, and for that I would use 50 to 65# power pro. For the frog setup I would use the highest pound test mono you can get away with.
  10. Unless one weighs more than the other, its the same reel. Wait I forgot the bearing count.
  11. I have never used a leader, if the bass you are after are that cautious nothing will work.
  12. The citica, and revo s are the same reel, they are entry level reels that anyone on a tight budget can afford. Why would you spend a ton of money on a loomis then disgrace it with a cheap reel?
  13. Maybe I should trash my mojo rods and mount my zillions, and curado's on rhino rods.
  14. Why put a $100.00 reel on a $200.00 rod?
  15. You might want to look into the td luna, its not as cool looking as the pluton but it is better suited for bass fishing.
  16. The only bait on your list I use are traps, and I use a 7ft mh mojo.
  17. If the curado works better for you roll with it, I wont get all red faced on here to try to change your mind. I know people get mad when I call them six pin reels, but I don't say it as an insult.
  18. I like spectra braid, this cheap knock off stuff that gets re branded each year sucks. Is this a combination of fireline, microfuse, and spiderwire ultra? I like to do things the right way, but hey if you can pull it off with half &%$ line go right ahead.
  19. The kvd works fine on mono and fluorocarbon, don't use it on power pro.
  20. A spin cast reel with a 6'6 rod will work fine. You can be that dude who sounds like indiana jones when you cast.
  21. The stx is a overpriced sx model. The new curado is also way over priced at retail, and it is noisy on the cast. I actually had the manager of the fishing dept tell me that I was a "d**n fool" if I thought the sx was better than the stx when I returned mine. I offered to bring my crap reel as he put it(the sx) and show him the difference in casting ability when he finally caved and gave me a refund. The new e7 looks, and feels better than the last one, but its still a six pin reel with a new price tag.
