  1. you know the sad part is you seem to find some good spots but not once its you on the reeling end?? lol i tell you what u claiming you deserve some of my fishes weight hey you can have the 2 oz. now that a deal you cant pass up.
  2. nice looking pics. congrats and keep it up!! i came close to buying a canoe.
  3. that sucks sorry to hear. even like when dock fishing you fishers or just drivers on the water flying by your line. i know alot of time some dock fishers wil try to hit them with the weights when casting out. sucks also you placed 4th when said you should had the win.
  4. harsh but cant say i dont blame you. i just dont understand some people even in my lil jon boat with a 40 lb thrust i slow down even then. just courtesy might even stop by sometimes to see how the other fishers are doing and chat a lil.
  5. yea when i see him i was like must get a pic. i caught bigger perch than him
  6. Your not kiddin'. Those dark clearwater bass are great. Especially with the red flairing gills............ Endless, thats a nice fish. Also, as for the hula popper, at least you didn't get hooked. I had a floatin' minnow come back at me bearin' three size eight gammys. Stuck one in my middle finger......... Anyways, great fish. Did it do some acrobatics???? actually the bass stayed low. i guess it was trying to get near the branches or something but it never had the chance lol. when i set the hook. it was set and had no choice to but come in. i set the hook in the back of his mouth on the top mouth mouth plate.
  7. nice pic and fish. i got the chunks but havent given them time yet. but again congrats!!
  8. my guessing sucks but ill say from 3 to 4. for a first bass ever you cant argue with that size. nice one!!
  9. if want the bps brand combos i would check into the pro qualifier. i have it and had no problems at all so far. to me its very lightweight and durable. i have it lined with 30 lb braid and yesterday i pulled out this huge branch i mean huge like a small tree with no problems at all and my biggest bass on it is my pb i caught yesterday as well a 4.2 20" long off of a 5" senko wacky. i had no problems bringing him in. i use my combo for wacky rigging and frogs. they have two different reels ratios you can choose from 7.1:1 and 6.2:1 i think thats right. the rods range from sizes and actions. my combo is the 7.1:1 with the 6'6 medium heavy rod.. the combo sells for 189.99 together. alone its 99.99 for reel and 139.99 for rod.
  10. thanks!!
  11. nice pic and now you got the combo figures out how u like it? i had one belly u pon us today and the other i said forget it before even attempting to get out the hook i just cut the line. figured it was better that way.
  12. nice. what does it weigh? but again congrats
  13. me and my brother went to hunting run lake today and shockingly the water was clear and beautiful even after all that rain from yesterday. i set me two personal records my pb 4.2 lbs 20" long and my smallest bass. both on the 5" senko. i was taking some advice from wayne p so i commited to using the wacky rig. my finesse was to light for my pole so i using the senkos 5" green pumpkin and 4" watermelon black flakes. . kvd coffee scent 7" oncho and bps tournament sticko 7 1/8" both watermelon red. i had most luck with the 5" senko but didnt have enough to carry out the day. the sticko no luck with. kvd i did have a lil but small guys wanted it more. my 4" did ok but man next time im grabbing up enough 5" senkos for the day. my brother caught a couple his biggest being a pound. he was using the zoom pumpkin fire tail. goby something and a few others like the mepps commit minnow. together probably close or over 20. we had alot of misses and some just for the ride. one i got to the boat in the boat and he manage to get off hook bounce off my leg back in the water. i think we lost one to tragedy and one i was afraid of harming so gave him the hook. manage to hurt my self too today throwing my hula popper was caught up and when jerk to get loose lure flew right at me and nail dead in the elbow.caused a lil cut and a lil swelling. lol but heres some pics just three of the fish and the lake. 1st and 2nd pic the same fish. 3rd is 1.5 lbs. 4th is a what the??
  14. man i love that intertube i would never though to put a depth finder on one.. nice pics and great post.
  15. man i love lightning but hate it at the same time. never no problems on the water but one time probably ten years ago i was walking in the rain with two friends and passing our high school lightning struck the ground not even 15 feet in front of us. but speaking of lighnting were bout to have a thunderstorm i hear thunder lol.

  19. nice pics and place. nice cat. and nice bass in second pic. what bass is that in the 6th pic? and in the 9th pic whats up with the fish eye? also nice boat!!
  20. nice fish. yea i was small two in high scholl i was 120 125. now im 27 and 165. just get married thats what i did. but after a couple of years it becomes a stress factor and you slender on down again lol. good thing my wife dont read my posts. hahah
  21. on my tri haul thundercraft i use regular 4x6's pioneer speakers. no problem with them. and my stereo just a cheapy but now with the stereo i would get the cover due to wetness but i never had no problem on my thundercraft . just skips from the bumps but when steady no probs at all and i dont have it covered. i been out fishing in rain all night too.but if do what i insisted you know mounting to the metal frame seat i would though use a speaker baffle (think thats right) the rid the echo from inside the metal frame. most places like best buy sells it post to rid rattling and echoing.
  22. you aint lying its looks huge in the pic. ill just be happy with that monster but beatingis always great. again congrats. and ever figure out how to load the pics yet?
  23. it went today and got there a lil late some dummy not giving no name (me) crossed my spark plug wires on truck and couldnt get it out this morning till switch them back. sadly though my gasket aint fixed got to put another one on. sucks but to fishing. i would say got on water bout 7 7:30. i tried wacky for awhile senko and finesse. i think my hook was to big for the fiesses but did manage to catch 2 lil guys of the 5" green pumpkin senko. i caught 2 other lil guys off the 7" anaconda watermelon red. and 1 off the ragetail craw. the biggest was a pound. the rest a foot and 1 8". but my catch of the day was cat that i caught on a spinner so thats a first for me. i did everthing i could to figure out my depth finder. i think the only with it is the fishes arches dont show. but im learning to make things out like grass to rocks to solid ground. but man some of the grass near the shore the finder cant see through it at all but that stuf is very thick and got my tolling motor caught a few times. i did have a few good hits in the bushes like you said wayne. i had one hit my 7 inch sticko but couldnt hook him. he felt decent. but the worst was i had one set on my crawfish jig with a chigger craw. got him to the boat went to get him and gone. got off right there. he felt and look at least 2 pounds. i tried over by the rocks near the d**n. that water is very deep there 60 feet but i stayed in the 10 to 20 feet range. i throw some cranks too but nothing took. but all in all that was my day had a good time so im happy.yea wayne your a good ol regular there i was talking to the old man inside about you. everyone there seem nice too they ride and by and ask how you day going and one guy tried to help me set my depth finder. i just learn to stay out the grass man it comes up on you fast next you know your stuck in it.so if anyone else goes there at stay from the shore bout ten feet in spots and there is some spots you wouldnt think and next you know wrapped up. i want to get on other side of the road he said thats about ten acres but theres no access to it besides road and i guess not allowed. but i will go back alot of bass stories there about 5 pounder and citations. i was talking to guy inside. he was telling me about ni to. i think thats where he caught his 5 pound pickerel. i think he said other was 3 pounds. so i will eventually try there too. hey newangler did you ever go? if not where you round up at and how it go?? oh only thing i dont like about the place is the parking but the place makes up for it in many ways so.
  24. how the depth finder do for you?? i just rigged my new one back up and going to try hunting run in fredericksburg/spotsy. this one so far no black screen so now just gotta see how it works.
