Z-rust capsules good for three years. the plastic taps are good for two years. cabelas had the tabs on sale a wail back for .89 cents for 25 tabs. The capsules work great in a three or four draw tackle box and the taps can be used in plano boxes .

For me it is the banjo minnow except one afternoon years ago.I had my two son and two of there friends with me in the boat. We were fishing along along a stretch of shore line that i us to fish all the time from shore when i was a kid. One of the boys saw the banjo minnows in my tackle box and they all wanted to use them,no problem! I tied them on and stared catching one smallmouth after the other!And these smalles were all in the two to three # range, where if you catch one this size on this stretch it was rare!To say i was busy as a one leg-ed man in a *** kicking contest ,the boys were all 7 to 9 year olds.I know for a hour and a half they landed at less 16 bass.This is one of my fondest memories of fishing i ever had!I have never from that day one ever had any luck with the banjo,but what ever i pay for them is price less.I think :'( :)god was smiling down on us that day. Ps TAKE A KID FISHING !!!!

What size spinning rod should i get to use for top water,mostly plugs and on the smaller size.I use sammys and some frogs too.This rod will sett up just for top water and fishing mostly smallmouthes .Thanks!

I just bought the symetre on RW advice and his advice has all ways been good.Ido like dodgeguy,s conviction on what he believes in! Maybe next year i will buy a supreme , jm rod and spooled with fireline braid! This year it will be the symetre, avid, spooled with yo-zuri 6#

Ok i bought a shimano symetre 2500, the most i ever payed for a reel ! Now i have the money saved up for the avid avs70mf,the most i ever payed for a rod!will i be getting a lesser rod if i go with a 2 -piece rod .I have only owned 2-piece cheaper rods so when i transport them in my car it has no problem(corolla). The pickup is no problem .I pretty shore if i am care full i can fit a one piece 7 ft. in the car.Whats your thoughts ? Which would you buy? Thanks! :-?

Chug bug is not my first choice in top water but in this clear plastic finish with the black high lites on top,the smallmouth loved it. This one will always be stocked in my tackle box and used shortly after getting on the water. not a miracle lure but some days wow! And some days not.

I brought this up last year and would like to suggest again this year.If you can find a storm chug bug in phantom 510 give it a try!Wow the smallmouth loved this popper last year.I can what to try the rage tail shad this year . What was your favorite top water last year?

Welcome to the site!I have been on this site for a year now and have learned a ton of info. I live in Calais maine but working up in orino. Washington co. is really over looked for bass fishing.I have fished all over the state and nothing comes close to the downeast :)

Avid is the one i am saving for.The 7ft. m fast. just can,t decide on two piece or not? 2 - piece would be a little safer for what i want!?
