  1. I know that all fisherman have one technique that they use in fishing that helps them catch tons of fish. Whats your best technique out in the water?
  2. i would stick to pointers because i havent tryed the flashminnows, Pointers work great.
  3. zoom was my first plastic worm lure. Cheap and works It doesnt have to cost a megabass or lucky craft in order to catch fish. Old fishing techniques, combined with newer generation fishing techniques. Only equals more success.
  4. Bass can become more picky as they age and dont use that much energy. Makes them harder to catch and more fun.
  5. dangerous, What if your hand got trapped in the hole, underwater?
  6. I will give you that. But looking at the two species, with adult examples of each, it is simply incorrect to think that the largemouth is the more dominant predator. I do see your point but Is there any record of any species that ate a largemouth bass before?
  7. Its a good idea but Whats the difference when you are done fishing and put your lure back in the tackle box?
  8. Look how many smallmouth bass in the north have teeth marks on them from musky and pike taking shots at them. not eating smallmouth bass, largemouth bass are the bass that never had been eaten by a pike or musky.
  9. I really dont think that snakehead will ever harm the bass population. Largemouth bass are the top predator freshwater fish in the States. I never seen another fish eat a bass. Catfish dont even eat largemouth bass, and they eat all kinds of stuff. Northern pike/muskie are very similar to Snakehead. Snakehead as much a threat to bass and as pike/muskie.
  10. bless America and bless fishing
  11. they work.
  12. cost is high, and you really dont want to lose a $20.00 lure to a snag, ect. Stick to rapala and lucky craft, but the version 110 is one of the best jerkbaits.
  13. Here is my question, Does weight matter the most in tropy bass? so age doesn't count? example if caught a 16lb bass in California but caught a older bass that weighted 14lbs in New Jersy.
  14. there's alot of lure for bluegill.
  15. I would say yes, it does spook the bass.
  16. why do we have more guests looking on forum then members?
  17. What is the appeal of the X-Raps? I never used them and am curious. You have to try them, different action but great lure. ;D
  18. private water may get special treatments than public waters, i think there is a big difference.
  19. The problem i had with people is that they always brought their dogs to the lake to let them jump around in water.
  20. Alright the three main baits i caught my biggest bass on are 1. Livebait ,13lbs 2.spinnerbait,10lbs 3.swimbait,8lbs
  21. The foodsource lure has been around for quite some time. It is another T.V. lure that i havent tryed. The main thing that i think, the foodsource lure is about is, its environmentally safe and biodegradable.
