  2. fished mill saturday,,1 keeper,,6 dinks,,,all on topwater, early,,from 6' to 17' of water,,tried several of the previously mentioned areas, 15' to 22', no takers,,,was a long hot day,,Catt, the south end has a lot of stringy grass,,maybe millfoil stalks, out to about 8'-10', any fish in it? I tried flipping the outside edge of it, but no bites..Tbend, that hump gave up a 5.5 friday about 6.30pm, but no takers on saturday thru 3.30pm

  5. Catt, looking at n31.19257 w93.66201 on acme mapper,,,is it too far away from the hydrilla? How would you fish it? There is not much depth change for many yards around it,,,there is some grass on that point but it is close to the bank,,,i figure you would use your jig or big worm, but i'm wondering what you would be looking for,,,what the spot on the spot would be?
  6. just my two cents worth on last saturday,,,,i had heard some people were catching them shallow with spinners,,,chatterbaits,, and traps,,,i went thru the whole tackle box,,,(maybe twice on some things) caught two for the day,,,one in 6 fow on chatterbait,,,secondary point,,,one on trap,,4 fow main point,,,tried jigs and big worms deep,,,all the way to bank shallow with everything else,,,i was down in mill creek,,sure did like all the sun though,,,,

  11. last year, in the summer, my dad and i were camped at sam rayburn, tx,,,another group of campers went out fishing,,brought in some fish,,three bass,,,upon cleaning,, one of the bass had 3 zoom trick worms and 2 senkos in its stomach contents,,,my thought at the time, was, this thing is malnurished
  12. well, if you went straight north from the ramp, you didn't miss Catt's place by much,,just a little to the west,,
  13. Hope you had a good day,,,and many more,,
  14. Hitman, did you go to fin-n-feather? thought i saw skeeter with those colors at six mile...was a tough windy day for me,,,couldn't pattern the keepers,,,did catch one 2 1/2 pd catfish on tx rig,,, oh,,,you said champion,,,

  17. when i clicked on the sat image, it showed the spot as deep with shallower mass to the left,,,not sure how old the topo info is, and assume siltation has changed the area some,,,
  18. x2,,hill, ridge,,,,,,creeks, drains all around, the creek, drains appear to be narrow,,,no drain due north to bank, lots of bends and intersections, points, etc,,I would start at those cordinates then work east,,ne,,,
  19. IF it happens,,,,I want to see overtime,,,,be great to see if the new commericials could keep up,,,haha

  21. Alright, found the point,,i think i understand the logic there,,,is that place any better (if so why, or not) than N31.29306 W93.72430?
  22. insight is their premium base map,,,already loaded on some units,,,about 200 xtra,,,

  24. Humm, what am i doing wrong,,can't see a 150?
  25. I'm wouldn't say insight isn't any good,,just that the navionics chips have one foot contour lines,,,good for finding humps and such structure,,,rayburn and toledo have been RE-mapped for these chips...shows stuff nothing else does,,,and the stuff is there too I use the 2009 premium chip in my lcx27, don't know how i ever got along without it,,,
