interchangable as concerned to cover yes,,,i fish both equally well in the same cover and using same presentations,,,however, the two are not the same in vibration and noise, and flash output

imo, it doesn't change much for the co-anglers, but if they go further and bring it to the boater side,,it will change their strategies, have to go for big fish,,not just quick limits then cull up...

looks like a 1/2 oz rattle trap? can't catch any fish on that one though,,no hooks,,,lol

we won't have ice out here,,,but do bring some warm clothes,,,i fished toledo in feb and it was snowing,,,lol,,,(that's rare),,,just about any lake will do ya,,,of course, if your looking for some monsters, then probably, falcon or choke,,would be the warmest there also

i've got ceder creek coming up,,on the 10th,,,,then on to the bend, the 24th,,,probably won't get back to big sam for a month,,,situation will be different by then i'm sure,,we're trying to restructure our club a little bit,,,i've talked to some but need to talk to more about the tabc

definitely a texas lake,,,be my luck, my month would be in january and couldn't get on a northern lake,,,rayburn or toledo,,,figure them out there, you can figure them just about anywhere

for me personally, it doesn't matter if they have the post season format or not,,the right people were going to win it (kvd, skeet) but it would be interesting to see what happens if 12th place wins it,,,swindle got in on the last tourny,,,my bet is, there would be a lot more grumbling had he won it,,uh,,not from him of course,,,lol

i realize there were no entry fees, but i haven't heard whether they still had expenses? lodging, boat gas, etc,,,i wonder if compensation ratio is more or less than last year? or, really, potential compensation, last year they had 3 more "wins" available,

ahhh,,so finding them is the key, then having slow enough winds to be able to fish them correctly,,,with the steady influx of fronts that are to be coming that may prove to be difficult, in your experience, how long to you fish a spot before moving,,,i've heard tell that you might have to check a "spot", several times in a day to find them active?

the stats definitely get squewered, nascar has 10 races in the chase,,,,still have to be consistent to win,,,,bass has only two tourneys,,no room for error...on the fan side,,,my guy could be consistent and have a chance to win the aoy without a win in season,,,it comes down to a SHOOTOUT,,, now nascar is considering tinkering with it some more,,,driver with two wins, in the chase,,,we'll see if bass does similar,,

Catt, with the main lake cooling faster, does this mean that main lake humps, ridges, and flats have fall frenzy first? If they can be found, they may be more readily productive? i'm thinking of the bass that never see shoreline.

Ode to the fishing GODS, i was privileged to fish FRI the 24th with Fishfordollars. He was prefishing for an upcoming tourny and allowed me to occupy the back seat. Jack, i would fish with you any time, THANK YOU. Fishfordollars was looking for fish, i was looking to pick his brain for knowledge. I fared better than he, lol, i think. We caught fish using 5 or 6 different techniques, but i learned more than we caught, not just how, when, why, but the class that he carries himself with. Haven't heard how his team did in the tourny yet, but hope he did well. I know he represented himself and team well. fyi, all this was on sam rayburn, tx

well, i have to ask,,,,where is here? down here in tx, they catch fish, so we use 'em!!
