yep.. i use it to know where i put my junk line on first.. spool half the spool with some 25lb cheap mono.. tie it to the fluoro with a double uni knot.. tape it down, then spool the rest up with some good fluorocarbon...

Hey guys.. I'm in the market for a frog rod soon.. I am just looking for some opinions from some people that actually have these models that I mentioned.. I am debating on the 7'3 H Vendetta and the 7'2 Tessera Senko/Toad... If you know of other frog rods in that price range let me know... Also, what other applications could you use these rods for... Thanks *please dont turn this into a Vendetta vs. Tessera debate

from march until mid june, 4" GYCB Junebug Senkos catch 99% of my fish.... after that it is Watermelon Red, Green Pumkin, and Black that catch all my fish... i dont have much success with purple later in the season

I had a 6'6 M spinning rod and i liked it.. a friend of mine stepped on it and broke it in half.. so i went and bought a 7'M one... I like this one a lot more.. it is sensitive.. I use it for topwaters and love it for that..

Abu Garcia Revo S, BPS Pro Qualifier or Extreme, are just what you're looking for.. try and get something with a 5:1 Gear ratio... 6:4:1 works fine also
