OU has had some great QB's recruited, but when QB's come in like Bradford and start right off the bat, they tend to transfer cause they get no playing time. Stoops loves style points. Two possibles, One, is a gunked up gun, just needs good cleaning and light oiling afterwards, and it don't take a dirty gun, just might have been over oiled or greased at the factory. The other is typical problem now days on new guns. A very tight firing pin spring. Too tight a firing pin don't allow the firing pin to move forward hard enough to strike the primer. Thats funny, year ago, lots of issues was from weak springs, springs that weaken from staying cocked when not in use. I encountered a weak spring, took it apart in camp and cut one spiral from the spring and that worked for the week while hunting. then took it in for gunsmith to order new spring for me. Another time, my brother had same issue. That time, I think he was shooting old reloads personally. I ended up using the spring in a BIC lighter, the one from under the flint to fix that one.

My family has been running jet outboards for over 35 years on the Rio Grande on the Texas Mexico river. You get the right outboard matched to the right jon boat with proper weight distribution, you can plane through the most shallow waters. Outboard jets don't do well in heavy vegitated areas. We fish waters that haven't seen hooks in the water in a long time. There may be some floaters come through and fish the river, but that rare.

I'll take Denver in that one as well. LT is and has been very inconsistent the past couple of years. Denver has showed the ability to play some consistent defense. Denver just needs to play cover 2 and keep the throws in front and they'll make San Diego drive the field, something they've been inconsist on, the big play has set up alot of their offense. RW, we was wondering if you wanted to re-adjust your season prediction total on Denver again, they are approaching those 6 wins you predicted pretty fast.

If I was Buffalo, they don't appear to be going anywhere fast,I'd put TO up for trade bait and accomplish two things, take care of any issues before they start and better your position for next year while TO is worth trading. I'd love to see TO traded to Baltimore who is currently going team to team and looking for possible #3 WR for future pick(s). Don't think Ray Lewis would put up with TO pulling that stuff. Anybody think San Diego messed up for letting Turner go to the Falcons last year? I mean LT was one year from the magical declining number for production, 30 yrs old. and he has significantly. Thread is useless without pictures. We don't see very much snow in my part of Texas, or any at all. Pictures of fresh snow would be nice way to start this thread off.

I wouldn't give any of those organizations any good arguements to use against us in the future. I'll just say this, mother nature takes care of her own in her own ways, and some times, its very cruel. If we didn't hunt deer in Texas, every so often, droughts happen, and if you haven't seen what starving deer look like, or starving deer that can't defend off illness due to malnutrition, isn't a pretty sight. Thats just one positive on the aspect of controlling deer populations by hunting versus mother natures normal ways. LMBV hit numerous lakes that were noted fisheries, not the soso fisheries. Why? No explanation or real known cause was ever stated, but thousands and thousands of big bass died. Mother natures way of maintaining her checks and balances.

His sanity. The guy has never lost at anything cause of his competitive nature. He gets boo'd by fans for the first time in his life and he's not sure of how to handle it? He done nothing but win his whole life with a completion pct from HS that was over 60% thru college. His passing stats had him pretty even with Matt's at USC. Again, other than bo Scaffe, he's had not one valid target. Why not use his strengths instead of making him what he isn't. considering what the record is, that is a trophy fish for your area. Indeed, thats a toad of a lifetime in your neck of the woods. Hell, thats a nice bass anywhere.

Last year, I encountered muddy conditions and cold water fishing on Lake Norfork Ark. for the first time ever last year with 15ft of flooding over pool as well, adding in the upper 40's mainlake temps. First off, I was expecting to be able to read a newspaper at 30ft, I was rigged for super finesse, smallies, ie....light tackle presentations for gin clear waters. In short, although very cold rains, the runoff into the lake was warmer than lake temps which attracted the shad to the flooded grass in the back of some creeks that had alot of dead vegitation/tall dead wild johnson grass that acted like a filter to clean the water faster. That little factor, dirty water put me back into my comfort zone, pitching, Flipping skinny waters for a top ten on a lake I never fished before. By day two, I was dialed in.

So, 25% of the season has come and gone. How are you doing on your teams progress report. My Boys are doing well on that wishfull 10-6/9-7 season I predicted.

Used to be, it wasn't about looking good in the pocket or passer ratings. Its been said that if passer ratings was kept 30 years prior, that most QB's would grade out as average on style points. THis is whats funny about Vince and the Titans. Vince gets drafted by a 4-12 team. Kerry Collins lost all his starts. Vince comes in and wins and the defense gets the credit because vince isn't a pocket passer. Well, where was the defense the year before for McNair? 4 wins? What counts is wins. When has Tenn put a receiving core on the field for any of their QB's since McNair. Enter the same scenerio the year Vince was drafted. Collins hasn't won a game this season either. Whats gonna be the excuse this time when the Titans start wining? The defense????? Getting first downs and scoring is the name of the game, and Vince has done that well his whole life. Won't be long till Vince starts again, and when they start winning, I'm sure someone will say the RB's or Defense deserves the credit. Its what they did and said the first time.
