It was an ugly win for sure. Colt has found ways to come from behind, ugly wins count. All time FBS winningest quarterback ever. Catt said we don't play SEC defense. We have changed that! , We appreciated that input, we decided to bring in a SEC defensive guru. Its working. What can I say about McElroy, I have never seen him lose a game in Texas or at Bama. Great Tx product from a Nationally ranked HS team. Ingram, one of the 5 best players in football. Cody can be mentioned in the same breathe as the "boy named Suh" from Nebraska. Julio, threat anywhere, short, crossing, sidelines, and deep. Colt seemed to be under the Heisman pressure early in the season, as soon as it was reported he played him self out of the race, he started putting it together. I think he felt that burden again Saturday. Heisman will not be hanging over his head in Jan. I just pray that Texas don't lay an egg like OU has for the Big XII in recent years.

Bad coaching to end the game or Colt had freshmen brainfart. Looked bad either way. Never been a fan of the Heisman, it takes a team to accomplish the goals of a team. The only reason BSU and TCU are there is cause teams just refused to win in the top ten, 15 teams lose, somebody is gonna move up to take those spots someday. BSU beat Oregon opening day and never played anyone good again, so one game made them a BCS team. Their conference is 9 teams, and the last week, 6 of those teams combined for 12-29 in conf. play. Nevada's win streak came from those weaklings in the WAC. So BSU Beat one team all year that was good and that made them top 10, nope, everyone lost and they moved up cause someone had to be there. Texas did no better, they took care of business, they were just blessed on high ranking to start the season. Based on the above team, Texas beat Ohio State to end its season with BCS win. BSU won its lesser Bowl to end the season thus the higher preseason ranking. Cincy ended its first conf. championship in the Big East and lost to VT in the BCS Orange Bowl. Thus, their preseason ranking. Ya'll hookem, going to earn some xmas money! Hookem

That ole wink don't seem to mean anything. We won an ugly game. I witnessed the Tigers losing twice to 2 unranked teams and still get the media vote to be in the title game and you jest that Texas lost. thats funny and typical SEC love. The Texas Longhorns are 25-1 the past two seasons, on a 17 game win streak. I'll just say we've heard it all before!!!!!!!! Colt played so so to start the year, it wasn't until they said he played himself out of the Heisman race, that he actually started to playing good. Well, we don't stand a chance against Bama, and we gladly take the underdog role again. The last time we heard that was in 2005, when Vince Young didn't win the Heisman!!!!!! and.......... the greatest college team ever, USC, was gonna embarass Texas, and how did that work!!!!! 2005 National Champions!!!! Hookem Horns! TCU, Cincy, Texas, all deserving, great seasons!

My hats off to Nebraska fans and their Black Shirt Defense! Black Shirts haven't meant much in past years. Bo Pelini has the Black Shirts playing championship caliber defense. Neb. fans display the most class I have ever witnessed, win or lose, classy fans. All future Big XII North titles go thru Nebraska! Hookem!

Sorry, the NON BCS colleges bring nothing to the table? Nothing. They don't have one major network contract for conference games. What does that mean? Viewing audiences for sponsor dollars. They have small stadiums. Even the mighty TCU HornFrogs only seat 35K, why would the Texas Longhorns want a series with them, we travel 35K fans!!!! They own no major bowls, or they have no rights to the major bowls in any major cities? The big money bowls are owned by the big boys. RoseBowl is Pac 10 and Big 10 Sugar Bowl is SEC Orange Bowl ACC Fiesta Bowl Big XII ND at least brings something to the dance besides empty pockets unlike most.

I said earlier this year that it wouldn't hurt my feelings if the Saints went all the way. I got to thinking about "my feelings": who have the Saints beat consistently to have a rivalry? Who hates the Saints? and why would you? My feelings are probably the same as most of America's. If ever there was an "America's Team", the Saints would be the team to have earned the title! To the best of my knowledge, all anglers are invited to release their own fish, they are even allowed to release them were they would like! Catching one and moving it to another lake is half the battle. Why not get credit and free replica, I mean you caught it, you could move it anyway with out reporting it.

First off, Cameron rocks at Lake Fork Marina. Thanks for the reports and footage of some nice bass!!!Thanks Cam!! 15.75 caught a few years ago. so that statement of biggest since 2002 isn't true. Randy Oldfield fishing up in the east end in Glade caught her on a jig on a night guide trip 2007. Pictures posted in the Minnow bucket. Lots of fish are caught and never reported. I also know of two 14's that are no longer in Fork that are in private lakes near Fork in past 2 years.

Saints and Vikings in the NFC championship. Vikes have the best pass rusher in the NFL and he has a knack of causing turnovers. Gonna be great story line leading into that matchup! Favre and the Ain'ts.

I can see nick76 perspective except that ND would turn the BCS upside down if they got a title shot over the other non bcs colleges, don't see it that way, cause they have rich football tradition. Look at the vast majority of NC's over the past 20 years or so. Most of them multiple winners and or from true football mecca's. Michigan, Ohio State, Neb, OU, UTex, Miami, LSU, FSU, FU, Bama, USC, Tenn. ND belongs in the mix. They got $$$$$$$ or they wouldn't be buying Charlie's contract out at an estimated 18-20 mil. Deep pockets, Tell me, just how many non bcs colleges have you seen in the mix before the BCS when it was the AP? BYU and who else? ND belongs in the mix, I also wish they would join a conference, but then they would lose the TV $$$$$$$$$$ they have been getting from NBC as long as I can remember ND football, and thats 40+ years.

Any ideas on replacement? I don't have a clue. ESPN over the past week said for the most part, since 1993, ND really hasn't been a premier job. Any thoughts on that as well.
