Now that's one we can make come true, in about a month that Fluke is gonna be deadly on the big pond. Problem right now is my back and I'm about 3 to 4 months from a new boat. Catch me in between tournaments and I'll bring my boat and play camera man for the both of you. Or plan it during the week and that will work even better. Might be able to talk LTrain into bringing his boat as well. He is hooked on jigs, and T Bend is very jig friendly waters. ;D ;D ;D Matt

Dream trip would take me to Mexico, I would love to fish a few days with Raul somewhere on the trip. I would like to fish El Sato for 4 days then to Cabo for some R&R and a couple days of Bill fishing, then maybe one more stop in Mexico for some more bassing. Hookem Matt

A properly geared reel makes it easy to crank a bait to its max depth, without grinding all day to keep it there. Proper gearing allows you to keep that bait down their at a snails pace. Whats nice, baits like DD 22's won't wear you out with the right reel.

I don't understand how any one can call a veteran team, with a veteran coach flying under the radar. The QB puts up pro bowl numbers every year and he doesn't always have the big name receivers. Shaun had some nagging injuries, but back up RB made the team better due to a little competition when Shaun came back. All the known factors are no secrets. I don't think there are too many secrets or low flyers, this is the playoffs.

Cheating is cheating, it has been going on for along time. Defenses normally don't change signals, thus any time you see a no huddle offense setting at the line of scrimage, and you recognize the calls coming in, you can call the correct play and make reads. Or just call audibles. One advantage gained was an unfair advantage during any game. Did the League not penalized the Owner and Coach? $$$$$$ and draft choice. I think that constituted guilty. I call that an advantage. Too many other Pros said "they all do it, they just didn't get ratted on, or haven't been caught. As for the Pats, its for each individual to select what regards the Pats season is held in. I know that in my mind, the Patriots have set the BAR Higher than any other offensive performance in history. They were a well oiled machine. Their defense would be questionalbe amoung some of the great teams. They earned their way into history. Also, I'm sure that the coach didn't take a vote on whether to tape or not tape. There was alot of sweat endured by players. In short, their efforts, the players sweat that earned 16-0. As for the AP award for COY, its media driven. LOL Did you think it would be any different?? The Media is driving the bus, and they love these threads.

I think knowing your cranks is important. Rarely will a billed crank get used before I have checked for tuning. I like to keep right running and left running cranks for lakes that have the long docks. Working a crank under docks can put some fish in the boat. I like to know what line size does to fall rates, suspending types, and so on. Already knowing what type of feedback a lure gives you allows you to feel the unkowns. When deep divers are used, I think too many people use to high of a ratio and it becomes too much of a work out. 3:8:1, 4:3:1 or low 5 will help get the job done and not leave you worn out. I think its only fair. the commish no longer allows players who tested positive or suspended for other reason to be "award eligible, like the probowl. But the honor was an AP award, thus not league generated. So this one he gets to keep! Asociated Press is stirring the pot.

I think, no matter how you paired them up. NFC playoffs this weekend have good parity written all around. NY vs TB Wash vs Seattle I think you could swap any of those teams, and still have good first round games. I would have to say that Dallas and Green Bay will have good test from any one of these teams.

Alright Aaron, here's the challenge: If OU wins (which they will) YOU have to start a thread stating that OU is substantially better than WV and openly invite people to laugh at you. If WVU wins ( ;D) I'll do the same for you. Deal? If an outsider may add. Why don't you both agree to add the others school to your avitar for set amount of time. I think you claissify the Dallas Washington game as playoff game for Skins. Game time was win and your in!!!! Not much for Dallas to play for, except some momentum which we are lacking. Seattle, reguardless of their weak conference over the past few years are veteran team led by Veteran QB. Glenn is right, Seattle is healthy finally. Washington is playing better each week, so Washington is putting it together when it counts, heading into the playoffs. Maybe one of the best first round games to watch!!!!!

I'm sure demographics comes into play as much as anything. What states or regions boast the most BASS support through participation and members. I'm sure Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce sweetened the pot for BASS to go to Penn. But the fishing was the worst I have ever witnessed. It was a dink fest, it wasn't won on figuring out a pattern, or catching a big kicker. The south owns the majority of magazine subscripts, its only fair that the region who supports BASS should get BASS loyalty. Just my opinion, I don't think Texas has ever hosted on either.

This will be one of those lame game excuses. If OU beats them bad, then WV limps out with excuse, coach left. And it won't be fair accessment of how good the East is because coach left. I think fishing would be great idea for HS if you could find away for it to support itself and the schools involved. Bass fishing is not spectator friendly. You can't charge spectators on public lakes that watch. Concessions don't make enough for the effort needed to set up. Fotball, basketball, volleyball and other HS sports are concession friendly that provides some monetary support. Also, John has jon boat and Billys Daddy got him Bass Tracker 190 series, so there will be some kids who have greater advantage. And finding boats in Illinois when the weather permits using them would be the same time that the owners might have some use for them as well. What would be the HS season for fishing during school?

So true of a statement. WAC and SEC are light years apart. I would bet that Rainbow Warriors have never faced that many athletes of that caliber on the field at one time all season. This is why I say for Non BCS teams, you got go play some one else to get respect, cause you can't earn it by beating WAC opponents. I would love to see Texas Tech and Hawaii play. I was told, if you want numbers, drop shotting the railroad bridge will put alot of numbers in the boat. Want size, hit the creek bends with something bigger baits and fished slow north of the railroad tressel, also trick worm the pads for good slot fish. good luck, I have tournament in Jan there. Matt
