Loomis Warranty Update
I was hoping you'd say something like that. I'm looking for a rod with those specs, was leaning towrads getting one of the brands I already have. But in the end, I just love variety -and that eva handle.

Loomis Warranty Update
So, Shimano owns Loomis, but they are entirely different entities? :-? Roger-What lures do you throw on that Damiki? What reel do you have it paired with?

Has anybody here used St. Croix's Gold Star + upgrade program?
I haven't, but I have been thinking about it for a couple of weeks. Let us know if you go for it.

6'10 MH XF rod for skipping?
I was skipping for a long time primarily with a 6' 6" spinning rod. When it had some issues, I started using longer rods and just couldn't get used to it. Even a 6' 10" rod made a big difference - and it wasn't a positive difference. I am currently looking for a new 6' 6" model for skipping. Extra fast is also good for me. It really is personal preference, but I can be a lot more accurate skipping wise and have more control over a hooked fish with a more compact rod.

Like to flip?
With what reel?? I used a curado bantam 200 and a castaic for a long time, now I started using a citica 200e and the bantam is basically a back up. The castaic hasn't even been on the boat for quite awhile. So far so good.

Yum F2 series
Would not have been hard. Would also not have been as funny. FYI, having a learning disability does not preclude anyone from being able to learn how to spell "can."

Johnny Morris or the citica?
Citica. Try ebay. Got a new one a short while back for $90 shipped.

Spinning reel for around 150
So what would "you folks" recommend for such conditions?

I think it may have "brooke" a long time ago. :

Livewell Treatments....FYI
Why? What is the difference?

Sprayable Megastrike?
That was going to be my suggestion. Apparently bass now enjoy the scent/taste of coffee, so maybe they wouldn't mind a little tobaccy with that morning joe.

bad news guys
- trailer lights
Sounds good - thanks guys.- trailer lights
Have a new trailer, it has been sitting on a lot for about 4 years though. The lights worked fine for the first few trips. Saturday morning they went out going down I-75. Pulled over and barely touched the plug and they came back on. If I wiggled the wires, they would go back off. It definitely seems like a bad connection at the plug, but I don't want to buy and attach another one if it might be something else. Today I actually got them to stay on by barely putting the plug in. Pushed in tight it seems to end up failing, but loosely attached I'm afraid it will fall out. Any ideas/suggestions? :-/- posting pics
Thanks-I'll take another look.- posting pics
How do you add pics to a post? Thanks- Matt- vegan bass?
So pops caught a bass from a small pond the other day, right at 3 pounds in weight. It was hooked somewhat deep, but he was able to get the hook out in what he thought was a harmless manner. Unfortunately the fish didn't make it. So, it went home for dinner. As he inspected the fish he noticed a small roundish object lodged in the fish's throat. It was a marble sized snail. Then, while inspecting the contents of the fish's stomach, another discovery was made. Two small acorns. :-? What do you think? The fish was of average weight for it's length, did not seem malnourished. Pops theorizes that the acorns may have fallen right in front of the fish from a tree over hanging the water and the fish reacted by gobbling them up as they splashed down. Seems plausible. Or did the fish mistake the acorns for snails? Never thought of a bass eating a snail, but why not? If I'm hungry enough I'll even eat a brussel sprout. Any other thoughts? :-/- BPS Pro Qualifier - A Revo?
Get the PQ. Scratch that - get two.- Need to match old reel with new rod... Help!
Thought about an Ugly Stik Lite? Could be a decent set-up for treble hook baits. If you want to be sure it's something you will use out on the water, maybe borrow a rod from a friend (assuming you don't have another spinning rod) and try it out. That would be a good starting point to see if you want to keep it in use. :-/- Just wanted to say hey :-)
So this Bowflex thing really works??!! I hate the idea of going to the gym, but would love to have something in the house. All of those things just always seem like such a gimmick.- Carbontex Drag Study
So what is the price for a cleaning and how much is it to add the carbontex?- Powell Square bill cranking rod?
I would guess that if it was glass they would state that. I think in the description of the spook/trap rod it says it's glass. But, ya never know. :-?- It's all about the royalty check, right?
In a world where there is so much competition for our fishing dollars, I just don't see the need to take a chance on a company that acts as if the consumers are idiots. We could see with our own eyes he wasn't using that rod, but he said it played a major part in the win. Don't tinkle on my head and tell me it's raining. How is that company going to be when I call them with an issue with their product? Then all of a sudden I should expect them to be upstanding? Could be a good product and could be a good company, but I don't plan on finding out. - trailer lights
