  1. Docks have produced about half of my fish on Lake Anna. I throw T-rigged worms in brown or green pumpkin. Most of the others have been caught off of crankbaits off points in about 8 feet of water. Brown crankbaits have seemed to work the best. We have always launch out of Hunters Landing. Good luck and I hope this helps.
  2. Enjoy the clean air and quiet nights while you are visiting.
  3. We have a 1996 F-150 that have almost 200,000 miles on it. Had to replace the spark plugs on it one time, but it ran fine for many years after that and is still going strong.
  4. We aren't sure if we are going to get there in time to tailgate or not. I hope we do, but I just riding so I'm not going to question anything that they do. I also have Heyward on my fantasy team, and am very happy about his performance. As an huge Braves fan, I am definitely looking forward to the trip.
  5. I just got tickets to the Atlanta Braves at Pittsburgh Pirates game on Sunday for $11. The seats are in the front row of left field!I am going with a friend and his dad so I also don't have to pay for transportation. I couldn't believe that we got these seats for so cheap.
  6. I tried them for the first time last weekend and caught a bunch in a very short amount of time. Severe case of bass thumb after that day. They seemed to hold up find for me though. I will be buying more in the future.
  7. I caught a blue cat on a brown crankbait last summer. I was almost disappointed when I got it in the boat and saw it wasn't a bass.
  8. A bigger treble hook might be all you need. I'm not sure how that helps, but it has worked for me in the past.
  9. So far I am having an ok season. Most importantly I have gained confidence in a few new lures and have gotten four new people hooked on the sport. Haven't caught many big fish yet, but hopefully that will come.
  10. I am just praying for the best and hoping it doesn't spread out and come up the Atlantic coast.
  11. You may want to switch up the colors you are using. Other than that, the speed at which you work the lures is the only other thing I could advise you to switch up.
  12. It was a bit of a slow day, but we managed to catch about ten LMB, one Crappie, one white bass, and a huge pan fish of some sort. Didn't do much fishing to the right of the little islands towards the dam, but did fish a little over there without any luck. Most of the fish we caught were in trees along the bank on the left past the pier. Crankbaits, texas rigged worms and a jerk bait are what worked today. Still didn't see any beds, which surprised me. I will probably make another trip or two there before the year is over. Nice place.
  13. Myself and a few others are going to be heading up to lake Orange in the morning. None of us have ever been there before so I figured that I would see if anyone has some helpful information. Any tips about types of cover, water temperature, water clarity, etc would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and help.
  14. Don't do that, GM doesn't have any money of its own to start with.

Well, I'm a skins fan so I like the idea of that. I always thought that Philly treated him wrong and was ungrateful for everything he did for that team.

I don't think they will finnish last again. I hope he goes into Philly and throws 7 TDs and beats the crap out of the Eagles this fall.
  17. I have a jon boat that has the plug welded shut. I doesn't bother me too much. If I get water inside it, I will just flip it upside down and drain the water out.
  18. Wow, that is hilarious. I now have DR. Pepper on my key board and pants... I hope thats Dr. Pepper.
  19. I was going through a bunch of pictures that my Mom and Dad have taken over the years, and some of the pictures I found are amazing. Pictures of me when I just started walking, the fish that got me hooked on fishing, baseball pictures, old friends that have moved away, and many more.I didn't know looking through old pictures could be so much fun.... I feel old now. :-/
  20. Just this year I started using a Yum Forked Dinger, Texas rigged. It has produced very well for me and I now have very strong confidence in it.
  21. I bought one, but I haven't got to use it yet. That will probably change in the very near future. Like CBW said, I like it because it matches the bait fish in my area very well.
  22. I don't think you can call this a bluff since it was caught and weighed in a tournament. I don't think that they would give him a couple extra pounds in a tournament in which I am sure money was on the line in.
  23. Welcome, and good call on Top Gun!
  24. I would buy it the day it came out without a doubt.
