  1. I have a ton of friends that are Caps fans. Everyone of them is all over his..... anyway, I'm not a fan of him for the way he plays and the the way he acts on the ice, but most of all, I hate him because everyone else around me loves him soo much. "tha stick is hot!" PS. yes he is the best player in the NHL
  2. I didn't think it was that bad. Its the Superbowl, I enjoyed it just like I always have and I always will.
  3. I am pretty unhappy right now. The channel that was suppose to be showing the race had a "winter weather extened coverage" on in place of the race. Just another reason to hate old man winter.
  4. We got 18.5'' here in Staunton. The worst part is, we still had over 6'' left on the ground from the last storm.
  5. "The move is not entirely unexpected -- as we reported in December, Paul Teutul, Sr. is suing his son Paul over the family business, Orange County Choppers." WOW I knew that they had their fights with each other, but I wouldn't have ever imagined one suing the other.
  6. Anytime I am finesse fishing I use a spinning rod. I do this because I have better control and more confidence with a spinning rod.
  7. What I personally think is most important for a fishing show to be successful is sharing the techniques they are using. To be considered a successful TV show, the audience should be able to learn something about fishing while watching the show. IMO, the best show at doing this is Lunkerville. You can learn about fishing by watching this show. I was just reading through another forum, and someone else hit the nail on the head. Fullspectrum said "I prefer to watch shows that I can relate to..." I also believe that is a major part of having a successful fishing show.
  8. What is it that makes a fishing show successful? When I started thinking about this question, I couldn't really come up with a good answer. So curiosity made me ask what others think.
  9. Ive been watching some of it, and they have caught some fish that are unbelievable. Great show.
  10. I think this one of the many baits that are made to catch more fishermen than fish.
  11. ? :-? If you have a 12 ft boat that is 4 ft wide, 12x4=48. 48 divided by 150=0.32
  12. Just saw a forecast that said that we are going to get 15-18 inches of snow Friday and Saturday. Along with that, the weatherman said that their will be some ice with it.If I lose power and can't watch the Superbowl, I won't be happy. And all of the the lakes will be frozen for another month and a half. :'(
  13. Largemouth- about 5-5.5 lbs Smallmouth- 3 lbs
  14. If anyone plays on PS3, my ID is angel-in-the-OF. I will be on sometime tonight.
  15. The funniest ones are when a friend hooks you. Not funny at the time, but hilarious years later. The only time I hooked myself was when a got the line wrapped around the handle of the reel and tried to cast it. The lure flung back around and burried itself into the side of my knee. This was when I was 9 years old. My dad pushed the hook back through the skin and cut the barb.
  16. My favorite was "If lessons are learned in defeat, our team is getting a great education." - Murray Warmath, Minnesota Thats what it feels like being a Redskins fan.
  17. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
  18. I try to match the trailer with the jig. I don't know if it really matters or not, but I always do. When I buy a jig, I will buy a pack of something to use as trailers at the same time.
  19. I think the two most important tips are to make sure your hook is sharp and that you don't have too much weed guard. Boohay makes nice jigs, but the weed guard is a little too long when you take it out of the package.
  20. x2. I will probably end up buying one even though it has the cork handle.
  21. Probably the best purchase of my life. The game is addicting and makes my forearms sore after about 30 mins. I also am going to order a bunch of the Xcalibur lures..... and Yum dingers.... and booyah jigs/spinnerbaits.
  22. Do yo u use a trailer with it?
