I like to get mine at WalMart because it gives me a chance to add more equipment to my ever growing arsenal of a tackle box.

Christmas of 2009 I got a baitcasting combo from Cabela's with this deal. I told myself that the one thing I wouldn't buy is a new rod or reel, but i couldn't pass up that deal.

Went out fishing for the first time this year today. I caught one small bass on a Cotton Cordell super spot working it extremely slow. This is the first time I have ever gone bass fishing in the month of February, so I wasn't expecting to catch anything. It was a pleasant surprise and gives me confidence to go out and try again while the water is cold. Feeling the body of the fish was a weird experience to feel one that cold. I am trying to get the picture off of my friends phone to post on here. Its small, but I will always remember it because of how cold it was and how surprised I was to catch it. Do it. If they are really Costas there is no reason that I wouldn't take the deal. What kind of condition are they in? Are you sure they are real? I guess what I'm trying to say is it sounds to good to be true, but if it is legit, TAKE THE DEAL!!!

You don't. And no I wouldn't want to look like that. As long as I'm in shape and healthy, I'm happy.

Brown with black stripes down the side and an oragne belly. I have a Cotten Cordell big O in this pattern and that lure has caught me many quality fish. I use it in both clear and stained water with success. Second would be a blue and silver with a white bottom.

I've never had to do this while on a boat, but I have been on a boat with a guy who decided that he couldn't make it to the shore line. I just kept fishing and tried to pretend that it wasn't happening. But we laughed for a good hour before we started catching fish, and still do to this day. I've had to a few times while deer hunting though, and it is never a clean job when in the woods.

Without a doubt my favorite cover to flip and pitch into has to be timber. Both standing and laydowns.

My family has used model 700s for several generations. None of us have ever had any problems with them at all. As lightsout mentioned, the fact that you have to put the gun on fire to open the bolt on some older models is the only thing that I can possibly say negative about any model 700. I'm not saying that the report isn't valid, but I'm just saying that I'm not worried about it. Also, I don't think this should keep anyone from buying what in my mind is the best rifle series on the market.

This year I want to focus on learning how to fish a jig more effectively. I have caught a few fish on a jig before, but I haven't used them enough to feel really confident with using them. Last year I focused on spinnerbaits and learned a lot by just using them. If I can learn as much about using a jig this year as I did about spinnerbaits last year, I will have another lure that I can feel confident about tying on and catching fish with.

I also picked up several packs of these a couple weeks back. I have never used them but I was fishing with a guy who used them and caught two 5+ lb bass with them on the same little flat. He was just slowly swimming them around stumps and lay downs and was pretty successful with them. I think they are a great buy for 2 bucks.

The Rage Tail Craw was by far my most productive lure this past year. I've never tried the baby craws but I'm sure they are just as good. I texas rig it with a 2/0 EWG hook and an unpegged 1/4 bullet weight. I target the edges of weed beds and anywhere rocky with them. I have also found that they are more effective when you dont over work them. Just keep fishing them and I am sure you will find success with them. Good luck.

I dont like the idea of dividing up the talent that makes up the elite series. I do agree that they need to spread out the tournaments and possibly add a few more tournaments. It also makes me quite angry that the farthest north the elite series comes this year is South Carolina. Just doesn't make since to me.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've said/heard that.

Im picking them to win, but I have a feeling that if they lose it will be a very bad loss. Depends on which Bears team/Jake Cutler shows up. I don't have faith in him in a big game, so I'm picking the Seahawks to win 27-21.

This year I am going to fish in a few tournaments. As a kid I fished in several small tournaments around where I live and won a fair amount of them. Baseball has always taken away my opportunities to fish in tournaments, but this year I am too old to play baseball. There is nothing I love more in life than to compete in whatever it is that I'm doing. Fishing is going to have to take up for the competition that I have lost with baseball. This year, I want to fish competitively and actually compete with the competition.

Ravens, Falcons, Seahawks, and Pats. If the Seahawks O-line plays like they did last week they will put up points. I dont have enough faith in Cutler to not fold under the pressure of a playoff game.

I think all of the newer packs are coffee scented.

In the playoffs yes, host a game no.

Im not sure if you can learn much from it or not, but I love the game.
