I won't cast a vote for any one reel brand. There are many many many quality reels, casting and spinning and they would all perform well. It's personal preference. I respect anyone's selection in what they purchase and use. Just fish it.

They came in a curl tail and a semi paddle tail. They were and are still a great finese worm. I have over a 100 still. When the Brush Hog hit the market, many worms were shelved. I did the same thing. Bad mistake. The 6 inch in a 1/8th bullet with appropriate hook will catch em'. I also have quite a few of the original Gator Tail worm used by Larry Nixon to win a Classic on the Ohio River. They will also see some time this season. Some lures are timeless. Fish those suckers.

The thrill of grown men in black slacks and matching shirts doing the splits and then using a Swiffer sweeper to skillfully polish ice, all while screaming commands at a granite stone. I can't wait until the winter Olympics. Too heck with wrestling.... curling is where it's at. Now where can I get a subscription to Curling Today Magazine ? Incredible. Before the Elite Series, there was a very large pool of anglers fishing the BASS Majors. Events were not only reported with lengthy articles, they showed the stuff the top five anglers used in the event. I used to look at what the non-sponsored guys were using because they were buyng it with their own cash. I saw many trends from the up and comers. That only influenced my purchasing considerations. Pro angling at the upper level has taken on a NASCAR flavor. Whoops, I just spilled my 5 Hour energy drink on the keyboard.

The guy has been out of competative fishing for what, two or three years and comes back to win by 5 pounds. Pretty impressive.
