Remove water from rubber worms
I have found senkos that were waterlogged and about double their normal size, but that's after a looooong period of time they've been in the water. Lay 'em out on some newspaper in a dry place...like @J Francho said, they'll soon be dry. Anyhoo, welcome to the forums, Fguy. Interesting first and second post on wet worms...

Set ups
Welcome aboard! You could use the combo you have for a lot of techniques including TX rigs, larger-worm wacky rigs, jigs, and so forth. As for a new rig, it seems your only missing a ML combo for smallies.

Are the new Daiwa Lexas good?
Welcome aboard, Tyler! My son uses a Lexa 100 and gets a lot of good use out of it. Plenty good for all freshwater needs. The 400 is a big reel, fine for salt, and probably hunting musky. Oversized for bass, IMO, but if it suits you, fine. If I were to get another today, I'd also look at the Tatula lineup...

High End Spinning Reels?
I can really tell a difference in reel stability between my Shimanos and Daiwa that do not have the fully integrated handle. Thus I use Stradics from FI to CI4+

How do you texas rig?
Hm. I use both. If heavy weeds/cover, buried, typically. If light/moderate grassy, texposed. Also depends on pound test of line.

The way i sort my stuff.
I use plastic storage boxes, gallon zip locs and label the overflow of stuff on those bags. Hard lures are in lure boxes. Stuff I use is in a Plano guide box with most commonly used soft plastics in the top compartments, terminal tackle in a small box, divided up with labels for hook size and so on. Z-Man plastics are in their own bags in the bottom section along with spinner baits, scales, line, etc.

If you had to go no fluoro or braid...
If I had to go no fluoro or braid and to only a mono line, I'd probably go back to Trilene XL... Was easiest to deal with on my spinning gear, never used on casting, though. However, since copoly is a choice, that's where I'd go. Specifically Yo-Zuri Hybrid and P-Line Floroclear.

Best Scale
I use a 15lb Boga myself and love it. Also have a cheap luggage scale attached to a lip gripper. Works extremely well, too, but can't get wet or it's toast. Got it based on a post here, in fact. Do a search here in the forums and you'll find a LOT of posts on this very topic.

drop shot hooks
Welcome aboard! I've used a number of different brands including Owner, Hyabusa, BPS, and others...I always come back to the Gamakatsu Split/Drop shot hooks. I've not broken any Owners, but have broken both BPS and Hyabusa, fwiw. Go to size is 1/0, but use #4, #2, #1, and 2/0 as well.
