  1. I'd like to know how you are getting these lures under 24+ inches of ice!
  2. Booyah pad crasher and Spro popper. I don't care for the spro original. Haven't tried the Koppers, but yall are making me want to.
  3. I LOVE my Fenwicks, the Eagle is a fantastic rod for the price. You can find em cheap too!
  4. Love the BOSS heads too. I really dig the Wood Walker. The Finesse Flip is great too; I have the Gary Klein Flipping jig and I'm not the biggest fan of it. The skirt sits on it kind of funny and it doesn't look the best, but that's me being nit-picky.
  5. Lol to the doritos controversy, just another thing people are going out of their way to get offended by. Anyways, here is that Heinz commercial, impossible not to smile at this one!
  6. Alberto knot. I only use a leader maybe 40% of the time though. Only when the water is pretty clear and the bass tell me they dont like the braid, sometimes the water can be super clear and it doesnt make a difference.
  7. I'm in the same boat as you. I mainly use Stren Super Knot. 8 or 10lb. Casts great, pretty abrasion resistant, good feel to it. I'm not against flouro with jerkbaits, but I fish them over grass a lot of the time, and I feellike I have more control of the bait when the line doesn't sink.
  8. If its not a frog, I like the Xcalibur Zell Pop, now Booyah something. Really good popper, definitely has an "it factor." If i need to cast further, or work the bait faster, I'll use a longer walking bait. I have a selection of em, Academy, Spro, Rapala, Spooks, etc. I don't have a go-to walking lure.
  9. My favorite frog is the Spro Popping frog, next in line is the Booyah padcrasher. I have tried the Poppin pad crasher once but haven't fished with it enough to form a solid enough opinion on it yet.
  10. Berkely powerbait Twitch tail minnow. Also, YUM's new 4 inch dropshot worm, the one with the cut tail; the bass tore that up.
  11. Definitely a squarebill, because it floats. If I backlash a tiny bit, or misplace a cast by a few feet a lipless crank can sink and get itself stuck before I can even start to work it over the cover.
  12. I've only caught one muskie in my life so far. This one on an Xrap, size 8 I believe, so smaller. When I do dive myself into the world of muskie fishing (I see it as only a matter of time), I could see myself buying a lot of stuff by Savage Gear, I like the look of a lot of their stuff, and like the products of theirs that I do own.
  13. Welcome! From one cheesehead to another.
  14. Every team gets screwed as much as the next one. I wouldn't even say the packers got screwed, it was just a back and forth game. Yeah there were a few penalties that didn't get called, but the game went on because of 2 impossible catches by the 5th string WR.
  15. I'M GOING TO NEED A FEW MONTHS TO GET OVER THIS ONE.
  16. I think you won too!! The 6'8" muddy water square bill and 7' Clear water squaebill are my cranking rods. I really like them for my cranks and jerkbaits. You got a hell of a deal.
  17. As others have said that bait is a Hawg Wobbler!I was actually in Mouldy's shop today, bought a savage gear Line Thru trout haha.
  18. Exactly what I prefer as well. Medium Power Fast Action gives you the forgiveness to fight the fish with treble hooks and still has the fast tip to make accurate casts with poppers and walk the dog with walkers/poppers. Another thing to consider is the length, go with a shorter rod, because it is easier to work the bait with. I prefer 6'6".
  19. If it came in it's original packaging I wouldn't be worried about it being a fake.
  20. Opened my gift from @deaknh03 today! Huge thanks to him for a really awesome gift!. He sent me a Jackall tn60, a rapala shadowrap, a kinami crankbait, a pack of rage craws, a pack of powerbait powerhawgs (awesome looking creature bait), a pack of keitech swing impacts, a 3 bladed spinnerbait, 2 awesome jigs, and a beautiful christmas card! Thanks again for everything Deaknh03!
  21. Wow I'm liking the look of those!
  22. Pictures!? Can't find them online.
  23. Everything was 20% off. Right now you can buy a TW gift card at 10% off. Then save it for the next sale, usually sitewide 15-20%.
  24. I loved that station, I remember they always played 6 songs in a row then ran commercials, called it a six pack. At least we have 92.9 now, it was a good five or so years without a modern rock station. I listned to A LOT of CDs during those days haha.
