i have heard many great things about jjs but the yum stuff sucks, i always used the like the power bait attractor kinda of a thick liquid, i think it was called berley liquid

lol you cant go wrong with tuperware tubs at walmart and keep the baits in the orginal bags they are cheap and squar ewhich pack easil in storage capartments

it really depends on the grass u are fishing how thick is it? what weight do you think you need to be able to punch it and keep bottom contact once it reaches the bottom. I would use about a 3 ought wide gap hook and i pretty much always peg my bait when flipping and pitching grass becuase its easier for the bait to slide in and out of the grass. on average I use about a a 1/4 to 1/2 for moderate flipping. When summer comes and that vegatation is matted mabye about a 3/4 ounce weight

I think fishing the spawn it is plain fun. And so what if the pros fish it they fish very hard conditions too.

more of the fish are in a still pre spawn stage here in south georgia some are starting to try to bed tho(10 miles from FL)

they work pretty good i have caught a few fish on them

In Big over fished resivoirs i believe in it for sure but in small ponds with hardly any fishing preasure i believe it helps to keep the dinks and let the bigger ones go
