    Hi Tim, Welcome.
  2. Here in northern wisconsin the lakes have been open for about a week, but the season doesn't open until May 1st. We can only fish for panfish. The thing that bothers me is that the northern part of the state is what they call "ceded territory" and can be speared by the Chippewa indians. It doesn't matter if the fishing season is open or not. We can't fish C&R, but they can spear spawning walleyes! This doesn't make any sence. >
  3. In northern wisconsin we had 1 channel when we got it to come in. ;D ;D

  11. It's amazes me what can be found. I picked up a Ambassadeur 5500C3 at a garage sale for $7. The guy said it was his dads' and didn't work very smooth. Cleaned it up and now it's like new. ;D

  17. I'm all for a women's TV show, but until you find a kick @ss, down to earth women that can convince men that they are serious, it ain't gonna happen! If you look at the commercials that have women in them, you'll know what I mean! : If you want your man to take you fish'en, stop saying euwww!!!, pop a worm in your mouth, and say ...let's gett'er done! If this was the shopping channel, we would see alot more posts from women. ;D ;D ;D I am going to ketch hell, but women who fish, are the real 10's!!!
  18. My X-wife asked me to get a Vernacular? ;D
  19. Thanks for spilling the beans! > ;D
  20. I learned from fishing walleyes with a jig and minnow. Most 1st time jig fishermen don't know what to expect. If it feels different, set the hook! Roadwarrior is right. It's magical....really! 8-)
  21. These are the stories you love to read!
  22. This has been very interesting. I've been checking this camera at different times of the day. The water temp has been between 42 and 44 degrees. Have seen hundreds of walleye and suckers. I have seen only a few lm bass, and only one smallie. I have seen no perch, crappie, or any kind of bait fish.
  23. Do you use tie-able titanium wire or pre-made leaders with the big snaps and swivels? How long is your leader? These things can make a big difference.
  24. Another thing you should take into consideration is the length of the leader. I seldom use a leader over 8" long and the length depends on the bait I'm using. Jigs and spinner baits, I go as short as 4". I use only tie-able wire and this is only when bass fishing and pike are being a problem. [pre][/pre]
