  1. Males are beginning to dig beds. Females have eggs.
  2. Spinnerbait, Rattletrap and Plastic Worm. In that order.
  3. Spinning rod, 8lb line and the deepest I've ever used it was @14 foot.
  4. Thanks man!
  5. Gunner fan. Robin Van Persieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  6. Good here. No problems in over a year of steady use.
  7. I've got two pairs of cocoons (amber and mirror blue) and a couple of pairs of cheapos from GM and Wal-Mart. Get the ones that fit your frames, adjust the ear pieces and you are good to go.
  8. Not exactly. Like anything else the more expensive a graphite framed reel is (generally) the sturdier the frame. The 20 dollar Shakespere, yes. One good snag or hookset, I can see it flexing beyond recovery. The one that I've got left in the rotation (Pfleuger) is going strong after 3+ years of getting used up to 3-4 times a week. I've used it on one of my plastics rods up until this year, so it's had a lot of snag abuse and the last fish it landed last fall was about 6 pounds. No issues. It's moving over to my spinnerbait rod this year. YMMV. I've been replacing mine with aluminum frames a few at a time as they come on sale.
  9. I'm intruigued by it, I'm not gonna lie.
  10. No, because I think that by and large your right on the money.
  11. No problem with it either. You have to put an extra wrap in your improved clinch knots, if that's what you use, or you will break off at the hook every couple fish if you are Texas rigged.
  12. Farmersburg.
  13. You did the right thing. You did the honorable thing. Those who would tell you otherwise are ********.
  14. Yep, when she's up to it. She's got the big fish so far this year at 4.5 lbs.
  15. No problem here either.
  16. No issues with hookups here. I used them for wacky rigging and dropshot. Probably only missed a handfull all year. Just reel to set the hook.
  17. Berkley Lighning Rod Luck-E-Strike worms from Wally World Tackle Warehouse changed my life...
  18. Gosh...Too many times to recall just one! Most recently a massive hit on a ten inch worm. The one I didn't miss measured out to 18 inches.
  19. Welcome fellow Hoosier!
  20. I'm a little surprised that TT gave it high marks since it doesn't cost as much as a small car
