  1. Thanks for the replies. I will try refreshing more often with the cntl and f5 key. It sounds like that could be the ticket.
  2. I just started using firefox for my browser. I tried to change my avatar pic and it would not change. Later I logged back in under internet explorer and noticed that it had changed the avatar pic, but when browsing through firefox, it does not reflect it. Anyone else using firefox and experiencing problems? Just noticed that my avatar is correct now, after posting this message. I'm confused now....but that doesn't take much. :-/
  3. Thanks RW... It was the Nebraska Defense put them in scoring position twice and turned it around for them. I just wish they could get that offense going.
  4. I'm going on almost 5 years on mine. Take heed to the previous advice. You will feel ok in 2-3 days but, don't do anything for a week or you will regret it. Happy shooting.
  5. And you are still going to church and thanking god for that victory. VT is lucky that Zach Lee can't complete a 6 yard pass.
  6. pheasant, grouse,quail
  7. I have had 2 German shorthairs and currently have my first wirehaired pointer. I saw that the GSP was on your list. In my opinion if you cannot or do not have the time to exercise that breed, your dog will be unhappy. It will then make you unhappy. I have been around a lot of the GSP's and I would not categorize them as a dog that always wants to please its owner. They are great dogs but, tend to be a little aloof. You have to be the pack leader or they will not listen to you. Are you planning on doing any hunting with the dog?
  8. They weren't good with him. That being said, I don't think they will score more than 14 points on the huskers tonight. Husker D has given up the fewest points in the nation thus far this year. Husker offense still needs to get rolling. I predict a husker victory...the score may not show it but, the skers will dominate......How's that for a biased opinion?
  9. times 3... I thought he was going to let that kid get pulled in the water. That was awesome.
  10. The last couple of years I have put more emphasis on musky fishing than bass. I have been surprised by the number of big bass I have caught on six to nine inch baits or big double bladed spinnerbaits. I have also been amazed at the number of 1.5 to 2lb bass that will hit these big baits.
  11. The Princess Bride "You're a Hooker?"
  12. Fisher King "Hey there's no birthday party for me here"
  13. And you can never go wrong with spoons. I like gold
  14. Some of the best rods for the money in the musky market. IMO http://www.***.com/descpageRDCOKUMA-OGSBBR.html now go slam a pig
  15. Congrats on your win. What body of water were you fishing?
  16. I am not familiar with this type of grass but, I do fish water that is 6 to 15 feet deep with cabbage or coontail growing to 2-4 foot below the surface. There are many ways to fish this water but, the key is finding the productive areas. I will usually concentrate on the edges both deep and shallow. I will be throwing anything from senko, jig, spinnerbait, lipless crank to cover the appropriate depth of the edge. Any bait that has some sort of weedless presentation. The areas I fish may be 10 to 20 acres bays of this type of water, and again the key is to locate the productive areas. How do you find the productive areas? For me I concentrate on changes, whether it be change in weed type. bottom structure, depth any little change. Try anything that looks different from the rest. Also I will throw topwater early and late on this type of water. Good luck.
  17. In Wisconsin I would recommend the 100 and 128 in pearl Ayu.
  18. I hope your seller wasn't "hootcrazed". If it was, and that sounds like his auctions, I would guess they are reproductions.
  19. Hopefully it wasn't somebody who had bought a bunch of the LC knock offs and was reselling them. I would check the pointers to see if they suspend. If they don't, you may have gotten the knock offs. See here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1238959223
  20. Unfortunately I also was just "lured" into this "hootcrazed" buying trap. I ordered 6 pointers, got them all for 1 cent plus $6 shipping for each bait. The colors were a little off but, the big kicker was that the did not suspend. They do indeed look like real Lucky craft baits. The pointers have a great action other than not suspending. I think I could put a few suspend dots on them and make them work. Anyway, I did send them an email stating that they did not suspend. They asked for the item numbers and stated they would give me a full refund. We will see how it turns out.
  21. I will throw them on anywater that does not have thick matted weeds. I love tying them on for my kids because they are easy to fish and they catch any fish that is hungry. I to love the fish them over submerged cabage, just ticking the tops with occasional rips. There is no wrong way to fish this bait. If the bite gets tough, try slowing it down as much you can without losing the vibration. I have caught a lot of walleyes at night on the slow retrieve.
  22. I love to leave a bag of *** in my car. It makes me think I am going fishing everytime I get in my car.
  23. Both, Just depends on the day and the amount of water flow. I also like right out on the end of the dike. Where do you do your river fishing?
  24. I ordered one of their $50 kits about 3 years ago. The baits are nice running and good quality but a little overpriced IMO. I was happy with the products. Next time I would probably order without the kit.
