  1. i always have line conditioner on hand
  2. Heard great things about it. Thinking about picking up a spool in 15lb for all around fishing. I normally fish texas rigs, jigs, spinnerbaits, and occasionally weightless senkos. This a good choice for all around line on a baitcaster?
  3. academy's h2o express mettle for $49 all day long 6:3:1 ratio 10 bb. i picked up 4 used ones off ebay for $60 shipped
  4. well id take a copolymer as long as its easy to manage. i live my kvds line and lure conditioner...speaking off, im out of it now
  5. Was wanting to put some 15lb on one of my h2o mettle reels...is it any good? or possibly stren fluorocast? not looking to spend over $15 a spool on fluoro
  6. Anyone know of any near roswell alpharetta cumming?
  7. ive used 20lb power pro on my silver max. casted and managed like a dream but now i dont really need to use braid til the weeds and such come back
  8. also depends on how big the body of water is...the smaller, the quicker it warms up
  9. my closest bps is over an hour away :/ but i have a new academy 30 minutes away
  10. i just won 3 of them barely used for $60 on ebay
  11. yeah ive heard there hardbaits are awesome and the detail put in them is unreal for the price and the ethos rods look nice
  12. are you able to cast pretty much anything with it? i throw alot of weightless senkos/brush hogs but mostly id use it for jigs and such
  13. every one ive picked up has the pistol grip i cant use them hardly unless im using an antique zebco 33 ive seen them with the split grip but nothing over 6' medium action
  14. My only luck is walmart specials on quantum im6 green rods for $21. They are so light and hold up to anything. Well balanced also. Im looking for another route. I got another reel on the way but want to try out another lightweight cheap priced rod....
  15. Anyone have one of these? they have 10 bearings and are only $49. Ive read a few good reviews on them. Ill be heading to my local Academy for the first time and might purchase one.

ive hardly used jigs....this makes me wanna! i have a whole storage bin full of different sizes and colors....ive read that 3/8oz is the most commonly used size but i only have one of them lol i have 1/4 oz and 1/2 oz sizes galore.
  18. ive caught one on a watermelon red rage craw and a few good ones using rage chunks as swim jig trailers this past summer
  19. pressured lakes...1/2 oz dragged on the bottom the way to go?
  20. just started using baby brush hogs...my local wally world only had the watermelon red flake color. what is a good hook and weight size for texas rigging these? i have 14lb on my baitcaster....i tried using a 1/8 weight with a 2/0 hook and no hits.
  21. shakey heads arent thrown here much at all. i havent seen atleast. mostly spinnerbaits and 6" plastic worms. ive burned my local lake up with senkos. they wont touch them anymore unless i throw a new color each time.
  22. This time of year? ive used the rage tail craw with moderate luck and started using baby brush hogs...anything else? im limited to throwing out in open water and banks. there is a dam with underwater structure like lay downs and such. Are super hogs any good texas rigged in open water?
  23. Haven't tried shakey head fishing. Looks like fun. What are some good plastics to put on a shakey head besides the normal straight tail worm? would a flappin hog work?
  24. well i think the fish in the lake i go to know senkos now. ive used them and used them. ive tried using fat ikas and only got 1 dink.
  25. I fish a few local lakes that are pressured heavily. I'm starting to think I should go with some creatures with light weights and take my time. Most people there use spinnerbaits and fast moving baits. What do you guys use as far as finesse goes? I only have baitcasters so I can't use too light of lures. Thinking about trying some baby brush hogs with the smallest weight I can texas rigged.
