If your looking on ebay, you wont find these easily. I found a couple by accident, as most sellers don't know these are the stacy king version, and usually list them as basspro or lucky craft jerkbaits.

try a little deeper, around where the depth changes. They are most likely there waiting to come shallow for a feeding.

I personally wouldn't do it, but give it a try..squarebills are designed to bounce off structure, so the trailer hook might pose an added snag. If they're short striking the squarebill, go back at them with something different, perhaps a soft plastic similarly colored with some megastrike smeared on.

With the micros, I would either use less of a leader so it doesn't have to travel thru the guides, or just go straight braid.

They do typically take a bit to ship when they have sales. I'm guessing it's a very small business and they get overwhelmed, or perhaps they take their time..I have ordered from them on sales before and it took at least a week to get the goods. Not a deal breaker for me, but everyones different.

I don't fish worms much anymore, but years ago the powerbait ribbon tail in tequila sunrise was a killer! We would rip thru a couple packs a day, and go home stinking like powerbait.

I have 1000xts,1500xts and would absolutely recommend them to you. I use a 1000xt for small jigs 1/4 and under as well as cranks up to 1/2 oz. I have it teamed with a med action rod. The 1500 is the next step up, I use it for topwater but it takes up where the 1000 left off..anything over 1/2 oz is perfect..mines paired with a m/h but its more heavy than med. It could be used with a heavy no problem. I also use the mg series and regular 1000 and 1500s, all superior reels.

Im pretty sure I crapped out 130 pounds today.

The Rage is made to be fished very slow but still have the same action as a faster moving chatter bait..fast retrieve will bring the rage blade to the surface.
