Calcutta 50 Uses
I bought a calcutta 50 last year, and it's a fun reel to fish with, but haven't been able to find a great use for it yet due to the 16 ipt retrieve. I'm curious to hear what others that own this reel use it for.

Line Preference On Spinning Reels
I only use fluoro or copoly on spinning reels. I'm personally not a big fan or braid

I've Found A Good Deal On A Boat, Only Concern Is Motor Thirst.....
How much riding does he do each trip? I know I have days I fish one area most of the day and don't ride at all, and other days I ride all over the lake.

Shimano Curado Bantam 200
I'd buy it at the price, but the new handle is must. Get a handled from a 200e with the new knobs and you'll have a great reel

Bps And High End Rods
I would guess most people wouldn't buy high end rods from bps, since they can likely get a better deal from another online retailer.

Humminbird Helix 5 Fishfinder And Chartplotter
All of the reviews I've read on the helix have been great. I'm planning to get the si model later this year. The helix units seem to be a great value.

Interesting test.

Curado I
It's a nice reel, but I didn't find it very comfortable to use. I still prefer the 50 sized e series reels
-
Drop Shot Reel
I'd wait until you get the rod and try it with different reels to see what feels the best

Bassmasters Classic Day 3
No clue what's happening here, but it's taking a long time

Bassmasters Classic Day 3
They blog the weights and update basstrak until the end. It would nice if they had live coverage early morning and in the afternoon when they are actually catching fish, instead of the middle if the day when nothing happens
-
Bassmasters Classic Day 3
It's a shame the live coverage ends now. May not get to see the winning fish caught after watching a few hours of coverage today. I wonder why they don't keep the live coverage going until the boats come off the water.

Non Boater Pfd
I'd recommend getting your own. You never know what your boater may have.

Coolers
I have a Coleman xtreme. It's a fraction of the cost of the yeti. Still keeps ice cold for plenty long for me

Any Deals At The Classic This Year?
And for $4.50 you can get an old milwaukee beer, hat, and koozie. That's was the best deal I found all day

Any Deals At The Classic This Year?
There must be done type of deal on skeet rods again this year. Half of the people in the expo were carrying them around. Dobyns has a deal to get a free fury rod if you buy another rod. A lot of the other vendors were giving away tshirts or line with a purchase.

Casey Ashley Planted Over 50 Brushpiles On Hartwell!
I doubt this is the first time this has been done at a tournament. It's legal to drop brushpiles in the lake, so I don't see the issue with it. All of the guys out there were mapping the lake for days, so I'm sure they've all found their own brushpiles in the water. I don't think Casey has a huge advantage

New Shimano Rod
I got to hold this rod today. Looks to be a good rod at this price point. Very light and well made. I prefer cork grips, so doubt I'll buy one, but I was impressed with the rods
-
Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
Not sure if the deal applies to other orders or just purchases made at the expo

Is Anyone Else Itching For The New 2015 Aldebaran...
Got to see this reel today at the expo. Incredibly light and comfortable to hold. Wish I could justify purchasing one

Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
I got to check it out at the expo today. Seems to be a nice rod. They are running a deal today if you buy a champ rod you get a free fury mailed to you
