Need Advice On A Medium/heavy-Heavy Spinning Rod
XF is what your gonna want. Your gonna be working frogs and topwater, so the XF tip is really gonna help you get the action you specifically want, while offering the sturdy, hard hooksets your gonna need for those frogs, and swimbaits for that matter. Although, any MH or H is traditionally not a very ideal topwater rod. I would try to throw those on a shorter, lighter powered rod.

Need Advice On A Medium/heavy-Heavy Spinning Rod
I've owned two crucial (cork handle), and have plenty of Powell's. I think the Powell's are lighter, and balance a bit better. My preference shows in the fact I own more Powell's than Crucials, I actually dont own any Crucials now.

I Give Up
That just makes me so (bleep bleep bleep) ing mad, i've taken sign language for three years, and can tell you name signs are very basic deaf culture, and to not allow him to use "h"s with his fingers crossed is absolute garbage. I hope his family takes every penny from the school, and enroll's him somewhere where people arent so freaking stupid. Oh no! Watch out! He's waving his name sign around, and it's just a letter "h" in sign language, but lets all keep our heads in our butts, not be understanding of deaf culture, call it a gun, and punish him. JUST INSANELY STUPID.

Need Advice On A Medium/heavy-Heavy Spinning Rod
Powell Endurance 7'1 MH spinning rod. I personally guarantee you that there will not be a better rod for less than $200. Plus, the handle is fairly short

I Have Rod Fever!!!
Well, I think the Croix would just be too light for a solid third rod, especially if you dont do a lot of finesse, and cant quite afford a proper reel. I would look for a good M/F or M/XF in your brand of choice, (Of course, mine being Powell for the money). It will be an excellent addition in helping to throw the smaller stuff, and will do a worthy job at weightless plastics. I use my 682C (discontinued) for alot of lightly weighted stuff, including weightless trick worms, and it does fine. It sounds like you've got your single hook lures covers, so the M will make a nice moving bait rod. Small spinnerbaits, small squarebills, topwater, and many more things come to mind for that rod. A M/F or XF will have that nice fast tip, but the medium power will absorb what is needed for cranks, but still have enough backbone for plastics and finesse jigs.

Quality American Made Knife
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE every day carry is my SOG Vulcan Tanto, semi-serrated. The arc-lock is top-notch, and the unique tanto is great for my purposes. I like the tanto edge, because I cut boxes all day at work, and its effortless to do that, but the lenght of the blade closer to the handle is curved, instead of traditionally straight on most tantos. So if you really need to slice something, it will, with ease. I also usually opt for serration, they help quite a bit for rope, and some tougher things. I dont know if its made in america though, but its the best knive i've ever used. Im aslo a big SOG fan though, I have an Aegis II and a Flash II Tanto. What I really enjoy about the Vulcan is it's not assisted opening, but you dont need it, thats how smooth it is. Just a flick of the thumb and your blade is locked and loaded. I also really like Benchmade knives, my brother in law has a few, and I like them, but I think they just a little too high priced for me. Probably because alot are USA made

Why Does One Company Do Better Than The Other?
People like the Lew's better. Also I think it comes down to looks. I think Pinnacle's reels are some of the most butt ugly stuff. Lew's look pretty sporty IMO. Also, I think people synominize (sp?) Pinnacle with lower quality stuff, because they're everywhere at Wal-Mart. Lew's didn't go from mediocre to good, the went away, and came back a blazin'.

I Have Rod Fever!!!
Only you can make that decision. From everything I hear, that is one of most built on blanks for finesse fishing. If you throw alot of weightless stuff, or want to for that matter, I would jump on it. However keep in mind, if you want to fish really light lures with casting gear, your reel is just as if not more important. You want the lightest spool possible, with quality bearing. The reel that jumps to mind as one of the best out there is the Daiwa SOL, and a Curado 50E will get the job done as well. Also, you have to be pretty good with light (6# fluoro light) as well.

How The Pros Do It.
Just because they're professional fisherman does not mean they are professionals at servicing reels. If he wanted that much grease, he might as well just leave it stock IMO. But anyways, I always rub just a bit of oil onto the spool shaft, just a very light coat. I dont see why not.

What King Of Line Are You Using For Pitching?
Yep, if i'm fishing hard cover like wood or docks I want a good, heavy fluoro. For the thick stuff, you almost have to use braid.
