Fedor vs. Lesnar
I have heard that Fedor was upset with the manner in which the UFC approached him the first time, he felt it was disrespectful, that is why he hasn't signed with the UFC. I have also head that the UFC doesn't want him to fight in his Sambo tournaments anymore if he signs with them. This is just what I have heard don't know how true it is. I do want to see that fight though.

Cake
"Going the distance" is a great song. It was on my pre game warm up cd when I played football in HS. It's the only song of theirs I am familiar with though.

SAA vs DAA
I would get a 1911 .45. I have two of them one is a nightstand gun and one is my carry gun. They are very accurate, have great triggers, are reliable, and just plain feel good. I used to have a Taurus 24/7 .40, it was my first handgun and first carry gun. It was accurate, and reliable but I HATED the long DA trigger. I sold that gun. I have shot glocks and don't really care for them. The .40 is a good round but I just like the .45.

Music Poll
I listen to mostly country followed by classic rock and heavy metal then everything else. For you country fans I highly recommend Jamey Johnsons' "That Lonesome Song" this is some of the best country I have heard in a long time.

swim bait reel?
I use a Calcutta 300TE or a Curado 300D. I use the Curado more because I like the LP feel. I got my Curado last summer for less than a $100 at a Cabelas bargain cave sale.

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
I think Bispings camp is still getting ready for the fight and claiming he will be the first guy to KO Hendo. ;D No, I haven't heard anything, but I do hope everything is okay and he will be back taking beatings soon.

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
I didn't care for Lesnar before this fight but now I can't stand him. That has to be one of the most classless displays I have seen in a long time. I mean, act like you've been there before. Still a great card though, and the Hendo KO of Bisping was sick. I think Shane Carwin, Check Kongo, and Nog, could give Lesnar a run for his money.

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
I can't argue with any of those predictions, those are the results I am hoping for. I am pumped, hope I make it back in time for all the fights.

Favorite NFLers
I was always a Mike Alstott fan even though I don't care for the Bucs. And I loved watching Tim Brown. Current faves would be Peyton Manning and Ladanian Tomlinson. And on defense I liked Howie Long and Bill Romanowski. Current favorites would probably be Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu ?sp?) Whoa, 5 bass, it seems a very important Raider was missing from your list, what about Biletnikoff? Glad to see another Raider fan on here, hopefully they turn around soon.

Need a good photo editor
I have used Paint.NET in the past with good results, plus it is free. Available at download.com http://download.cnet.com/Paint-NET/3000-2192_4-10338146.html?tag=mncol;pop

Your rod/reel/line arsenal
Here is what goes with me when I go out with the goal of bass fishing exclusively: -G. Loomis IMX MBR 783C w/ a Shimano Curado 200DHSV w/ Trilene Big Game 12# line. Uses: weighted plastics, spinnerbaits, buzz baits, jigs - G. Loomis IMX MBR782C w/ Shimano Curado 100D w/ Trilene Big Game 10# line. Uses: Shallow cranks (no more than 6-8'), rattle traps - G.Loomis GL2 SJR783S w/ Shimano Stradic 2500 w/ Trilene XL 10# line and 30# Power Pro or Suffix braid on spare spool. Uses: Jerkbaits, topwaters, weightless plastics, shakey heads, about anything I need to throw. THis combo gets used for about everything in my tacklebox and makes every trip to the water. - Bass Pro Bionic Blade 7'6" Flippin stick w/ Shimano Curado 300D w/ Trilene Big Game 30# line. USes: Swimbaits, Carolina rigs, rogs, flipping - I also have a Shimano Curado 200DPV w/ Trilene 10# Big Game that will be used for deep cranking when I get the extra money or have a need for a deep cranking rod.

What are your biggest fish of the year so far?
The fish in my profile pic is my biggest of the year and it weighed in at about 5#. I caught it right after dark pulling a black spinnerbait through a flooded roadbed a few months ago.

Gran Torino
Yep, great movie. One of the better ones I have seen lately.
-
The Hangover
I saw it opening day and it is by far the funniest movie I have ever seen. Although, they showed a trailer for "The Goods" and it looks like it might be funnier.

reel storage
Mine stay outside in a storage building for the most part, and I have not had any problems. BTW, I do enjoy Crown on occasion but I bought my bags on ebay.
-
reel storage
During the offseason i store reels in either small flannel drawstring bags my grandma made me or Crown Royal whiskey bags. These are then put into reel case I made myself with plans off of the ReelMechanics website. I took an old Plano tacklebox and cut the trays out of it then lined it with carpet scraps.

Old Shimano Curado DPV Model??
I have one. It is a solid reel, the main complaint with it was that it was a bit heavy and a little larger than most reels. I have one of each of the D series Curados. I love these reels and really haven't found a reason to switch over to the new E series. I am sure you will be very pleased.

Baits That Catch Numbers
1/8 oz rooster tails have been catching most of my bass (and other assorted fish) this year.

Kentucky lake- first 5 days of June
Those big worms and jigs should work well for you in the deep water, as will the big deep diving cranks, I like DD22's or DT-16's. Don't count out a big spinnerbait either. When shallow I have been having my best luck on rattle traps and small crankbaits as well as spinners and in line spinners. (Most of my fish this year, bass included, have come off rooster tails when bluegill fishing.) Good luck and hope you enjoy your trip.

decent baitcasters for under $50
I would get a 4600 series Ambassadeur. These are solid reels that can be found for very good prices. I don't think I paid over $50 for either of mine, a C3 and a C4. Also keep your eyes open for some of the old Curado B's. I found a Curado 201BSF for around $50 last year. THese are great reels.
