I am dying to get my hands on the new Smoke but I just bought a Con Z and Revo STX so I have to wait. How do they compare to the older Smoke and Exo?

I have owned every generation of Veritas rods. the 1st gen had a serious issue with breakage but was corrected towards the end of their cycle. I will say that as the generations moved along the stiffer the blank became. Abu rods always seem underrated but a 6'6" Med spinning rod is like fishing with a broom handle.

There is going to be a downfall on the youtube side of the industry. YT banned all hunting and gun related content from being monetized. A small channel I watch that is geared for instructional and reviews has shut his channel down because YT is now combing through Fishing channels to demonetize them. All these flooded channels will be gone once YT quits paying them for fishing videos. That is one reason the Googan Squad (I can't stand by the way) is uploading less fishing content and more talking about fishing. As for the industry I shop probably the most different than everyone here. I do not buy from big chain outlets and very rarely do I buy from mom and pop shops. When I want to buy product I go straight to the manufacture for it. Yes I may place 7-8 different orders but they offer free shipping along with every other store. I would rather the manufacture receive every cent for their product then split between other companies. Lastly @reason where can I find these snakehead videos?

I would go Erie in late May. However like stated above the wind can ruin a trip. The way I circumvent that is by going up the Detroit River on windy days. You then can fish the river which is very under rated or run it to St Claire. the tournaments I fish launch from the river and gives anglers freedom to fish US and Canada as well as the river, Erie or St. Claire so I have made the runs quite a bit. I cannot give guide recommendation though since I am from the area.

I love is post because I have been asking the same question for a few years. I would look at the Abu Garcia Revo Winch Gen 4. It will handle your big baits as well as Musky or Pike. I have personally fought both on the new Winch as I fish Lake St. Claire and a local lake that is over ran with pike.

2.5 oz and 1.25 oz Red Eye Shad. I use a green worm and a shad crankbait, white spinnerbait and black buzzbait. I keep it that simple.

Picasso Invizwire and River2Sea Bling are the only two spinnerbaits I throw. Give of the perfect amount of vibration and I can feel everything they are doing down there. 6'9" MH Kistler KLX blades rod paired with a 6:1 Revo SX gen 4 spooled with 12# Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. I slow roll my spinnerbaits and love using them in the lower part of the water column. If I want to burn it I use 12# Vicious Ultimate Co-Poly on a 7:1 Ardent Apex Elite.

I have a couple Con A and C. I'll have my Z this week. I love their reels but have to agree with DVT they are a little over priced. The *** is at a good price and if all the features work flawlessly I believe the Z is at a good price. When they first releases the A was $149 and the C was $199. I assume it was because they were very popular when they released that they upped the price.

I have a wall of plastics, wall of cranks and a wall of terminal/wire/jigs. Luckily I have a 2.5 car garage that is strictly a dedicated fishing building.

KLX for sure they even make a Drop Shot specific spinning rod. Its a 6-10 drop shot finesse rod.

There is a store near me trying off their last stock of the Revo Rocket and MGX. They are selling the Rocket for $130 and the MGX for $175. Are either of the reels worth that deal?I know their MSRPs but I am asking people that own or have owned either reel in the past if those prices are sweet enough to purchase. Edit: They also have the STX for $130 (I know they are the same as Rockets with slower gears).

I used to use all Carrot Stix. Then about 3 years I started trying different brands and had been doing so for a long time until I got my Kistler KLX in the mail. Now I am slowly converting all my rods to Kistler. I love all 5 of the rods they make and they have Gary Loomis backing their products since he makes their blanks.

you have to a park ranger during warden training and I was working 60 hrs between 40 hours as a ranger and the 20 hrs in the educational program. I majored in Business in college and went to work for brinks after graduation. They took my Brinks training as enough to make me a licensed peace officer which is needed to become a ranger. Then I started warden training.

I agree with this. I am a lender for a large regional bank and banker's hours and all the random holidays I get allow me to fish more than any other job I had. I even was in the game warden educational program and dropped out because I didn't have time for anything let alone fishing.
