Welcome to the forums Steve! PM sent! Jeff
  3. Since then, I have added the same padding from the floor to protect the areas around the reels and baits. Just didn't have a pic already uploaded from that. You know how these boats are, always a work in progress! Jeff
  4. No please do! We would love to hear all stories! Jeff
  5. One morning, 83 fish, most over 4lbs, including 2 over 10. Got to the point where you would raise your rod over your head and try to make the fish jump. If it wasn't over 7lbs, you gave it slack to try and get free. Never again have I had anything close to this, but man do I hope it happens again. the stats- 2 over 10, 1 over 9, 1 over 8, 4 over 7, 10 over 6 and 10 over 5. 2 biggest were 10lbs 9 oz and 10lbs 2 oz. Jeff
  6. Looks very similar to the new pinnacle handles. Just different colors. I do not like the knobs. Just curious. Thanks for the info! Jeff
  7. 53 days this year. The last 2 years have been slow on days for me! Jeff
  8. What handle is on this reel? Jeff
  9. Last year was 52 days on the water....... This year I have to add up my logs and will do so and report back! Jeff
  10. Jackson MS, Baton Rouge LA, Mobile AL. Had me a little further south than in reality..... Jeff
  11. I built my current boat to get exactly what I wanted. Money wasn't even a consideration. I had a vision of what I wanted, and there wasn't one out there. So I built it. There are several different shapes of hulls a jon: flat bottom, mod-v, v, round bottom, deep v and multi-hull designs. Probably more I am forgetting. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages. Mine is a modified v. V in the front a flat bottom in the back. It seems to be the best of most worlds in the grand scheme of things aluminum! Jeff

  16. Here are some more of my pics. Let me know if there is something specific you would like to see or know: Rod holder system with golf tubes running under front deck: Complete minus rear motor and original trolling motor no graph: New trolling motor/ old graph: Rear deck and motor cutout Front deck/rod holders/go pro mount/ padded bottom deck: I have since changed front graph. It also has on board 3 bank battery charger with 2 batteries up front under deck and cranking battery in rear. Also installed my own bilge pump with side exit. Anything else just ask! Jeff
  17. I too just submitted my donation!!!! Jeff
  18. Yea but I still plan on hitting the lottery. $568 Mill can buy one of these measly $18 mill boats no problem! Jeff
  19. The trees have produced ok, but the drop from the sand bar flat with the pvc trees and the wooden spools has been the best bet! Just sayin! Jeff

  21. Very cool. This info should help you when the water level is back to normal! Jeff
  22. Wow. That is very impressive. I guess my comment about them not being any good refers to an oxbow that gets current and that must affect their ability to stay together and last. Even more curious is the fact your trees aren't even tied down! Jeff
  23. Merry Christmas to you too Shane! And nice P's. I hope to catch one someday soon! Jeff
