  4. I use several types of retrieves. My number one is a popper style retrieve. Pop it and let it sit, repeat with one pop or two or three. Also a slow reeling retrieve, similar to a buzz bait. And any combination of the two. Sometimes it is a subtle pop, and sometimes it is a whip your rod very hard pop. Just let the fish tell you what they want. I am a BIG fan of the devil's horse. Jeff
  5. WoW! You to are on a roll.....keep it up! Jeff

  15. Per RW, the resident expert on Yo-Zuri: Both Yo-Zuri Hybrid and Hybrid Ultra Soft float. Technically, they are not buoyant like a bobber or PFD, they will not rise once submersed. However, the line "floats" as a result of surface tension. The line has absolutely no impact on weightless soft plastics and it will not pull the nose of a topwater lure down. Jeff
  16. What rod loop? LOL Jeff
  17. Great time and Great pics! Congrats! Jeff
  18. I fish religiously every Sunday, and then try to hit one more afternoon a week, so I would so 1 day and 1 afternoon a week. Then you have to factor in about 4-5 week trips throughout the year. I am actually keeping a record of this for the first time this year. How many days, how many bass and then how many over 5lbs. I will know for sure at the end of the year how it all works out. Jeff Ps> by my calculations right now I am fishing EXACTLY 1.5 days per week so far this year!!!
  19. Scrutch, do you know if there is any way to make it to where you can look at thumbnails instead of downloading each one individually? Jeff
  20. I use yo-zuri hybrid on all of my rods except for 2! Never had a problem with Palomar knot. (6lb or 12lb) It is all I use except for joining leaders which I hardly do! Wet it and pull tight. Trim and you are ready to fish! Jeff
