  1. I am headed there August 11-16 and want a striped marlin BAD! I am leaning towards Pisces charter right now, but would love someone with personal experience! Jeff
  2. I think you would regret not having the side bunks. But that is just me! Jeff
  3. Anyone have any recommendations or who not to go with for an August Billfish trip out of Cabo? Jeff
  4. Spinning rods........with a casting rod I backlash every time! Jeff
  5. I would never have a trailer without side bunks. Makes laoding that much easier! Jeff
  6. Craftsman is a quality brand at a lower price. I also have a longacre 1/2 drive battery impact that I would put up against my Snap on batter impact in a heart beat. It weights a little more, but well worht the $200 price tag! Jeff
  7. Tom, was I right about the bridge in the background, or am I the one loosing it...... Jeff
  8. Eric, I am sure Tom is far to old to remember things like that, but the bridge in the backgroud, looks to me like the bridge than runs over the Dam and locks. Maybe that will strike a chord and help Tom remember! Jeff
  9. Welcome aboard from a fellow Memphian! Jeff
  10. x2! Jeff
  11. Hmmmm....never seen a triple attack. Awesome! Jeff
  12. Start at the word "dam" and work striaght out to the fish attractor sitting in 10-12' of water. It was good coutour lines, and depth. I think depth will be your key here, as you say you catch numbers while beating the bank. That would be my first attempt! Jeff
  13. Wow.....now I am really jealous! Jeff
  14. Sounds like a fantastic outing.......congrats! Jeff
  15. Just so you guys know, RW would only own a "Shimano" camera, AND "picture worthy" to him is a GIANT to us! Ledge fishing should produce a good fish for him, so hopefully we will see some. Jeff
  16. Congrats and welcome to the addiction..... Jeff
  17. I fish dirty water every week, and this will sum up what works for me..... Jigs- Black/blue with blue trailer; black/red, with neon red trailer(shhh don't tell anyone else), and PURPLE....I have been whacking them on purple(junebug) lately Spinnerbaits- All white with a colorado blade, or the terminator "thumper" blade Crankbaits- Always have a rattle and try and fish them on the bottom Plastics- dark colors, black/blue, black, red shad, purple, and even green pumpkin red eye shad- make it have flash(chrome) And it is probably a confidence thing for me, but I always use a scent Jeff
  18. x2! First step is to clear water out of compressor, then go from there! jeff

  21. You have a private pond with smallies.....i am envious! jeff
  22. Without the brave people who have fought and are still fighting for our freedom, we would not have this wonderful website, or the opportunity to partake in what we all have a common bond and love for and that is fishing! Thank you all past, present and future service men and women! Jeff
  23. Sure why not. I rarely match the trailer color exactly with my jigs. Sometimes I do, but most oftern not! Jeff
  24. I would throw a green pumpkin on there, but thats just me! Jeff
