Main difference is size. But also spool size(line capacity) as well as a couple other small differences such as one less bearing for the reel handle. I also have the 50 and it is all you need for bass fishing.....Great reel Jeff

It unanimous. My 50 is by far my favorite reel! But if I did it over again, I would have dvt supertune a 50e with gear swap. Something I am doing very soon! Jeff
