  4. Baldness from my dad, shortness from my mom, gut from my dad....and the list goes on. But on the positive side they both like fishing!!! Jeff
  5. I see you found a solution and I am late to the party, but another thing that many gun noobs do is OVER oil/grease/lube your gun. This excess of lube collects dust/dirt,powder and all other junk and makes the actions sticky or just not work! FYI! Jeff
  6. Nice! Seems like your plan is working out nicely! Jeff
  7. Memphis, and I fish many different places! Jeff
  8. Same bank as Lilly pads but south. Yes kinda opposite of carefree. Jeff
  9. Lake Austell in Arkansas was stocked with Florida strain way back when! Also the new state record was caught out of Dunn, which is in the same state park as Austell and at 16.5 lbs I would bet it made its way over from Austell and would be a Florida strain! Jeff
  10. At horseshoe, I would bet under the lilly pads in the under 4 foot range would be good right now. Also the south west bank where it gets shallow would be the place to be. I would stay away from the docks, as they are for the most part deeper, even though it "seems" like the place to be. Just my game plan for this time of year. Also back off the bank a little, until you find where it starts to get a little deeper, and you might find big mama looking to stage and come up!! Jeff
  11. My orders are always fast and accurate! Jeff
  12. Austin, I don't know where you are fishing, but I AM hearing early reports of male bass making beds in the shallower waters as of this week. Just letting you know! Jeff
  13. They are just friends. Everyone knows that Taylor and I are secretly lovers, and I just stay out of the limelight! Jeff
  14. I have a countdown app on my phone lol...well actually it is a gidgit, but it is keeping me informed every day! LOL Jeff
  15. If this rod is a cranking rod, then it should be a more parabolic bend and should be used with trebel hook lures, which makes me think you should put a slower reel for cranks, or a medium ratio for jerkbaits and whatever oher trebel lures you plan on throwning.. Jeff
  16. 70 SS chevelle. Red with black stripe, black interior completely built roller motor or stock smoking 396. I'm a small block guy. Either all original or all custom. No in between. Jeff
  17. I'm in. For what it's worth. Lol. Congrats Dwight .....AGAIN. Jeff
  18. Are you going to be cranking with it? If so a 7 speed reel is not the best option....maybe I am missing something? Jeff
  19. Happy Birthday! Jeff
  20. I do not own one. I have a stradic and a ci4, and like the ci4 MUCH better. But I have fished 2 of RW's and man are they nice. REALLY nice, but only worth the extra dough if you can justify it. Jeff
  21. Nice fish Paul. Call me when you wanna go! jeff
  22. Wind scared me off today....gusts of 35-40 is rough! Jeff
  23. I have a certain hat I like wearing, and when it is cold, it is ALWAYS time for the over-alls. Both are in my avatar! LOL! But other than that, its just fishing. Jeff
  24. A-Jay, are you located anywhere near the Ohio River valley, or anything that eventually dumps into the Mississippi River? If so, that will reek havoc on my fishing hole, that floods with the Miss. River. Jeff
  25. I just wish we didn't have sustained winds of 20+ with gusts of 40+. If it fades off MAYBE I can get a good day on the water! Jeff
