Shimano Vs Daiwa Baitcasters
My experience with Shimanos.....long, long time ago I owned a Curado, long enough to realize that I have to take the reel in pieces apart in order to change the spool control settings. More recently I made the mistake of buying an Scorpion 1001, it has a handle that is even uncomfortable for my children and after 3-4 uses I have to sent it to Japan for 3 months for a warranty service repair. It is my fault since I knew how to spell Daiwa ;D

What is the most expensive lure you have?
Rago :'(.....but I love them :-X

Not impressed with TD-Z
Agree.....right on Avid. I just got my TD-Z yesterday, and I think Raul is right and they have been out for a while, mine was bone dry but with a little bit of good oil, back to honoring its reputation. Sorry I didn't order 2 of them.

Braided lines on a baitcaster?
Sufix for me too. 50-65 lbs
-
BPS brand flouro.
According to this is one of the best, if not the best fluoro in the market. I've never used it but I'm very willing to give it a try. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewfluorocarbontest.html

Braid? Who has had success?
P-Line fluoro, 10-20 lbs.
-
Chronarch MG or Zillion?
No Chronarch for me, Zillions all the way, if I need it lighter, TD-Zs

TD-Z's $199 shipped @ Cabelas
Me either and I was wondering the same. May be free shipping as part of the promotion?

kistler vs St.croix
I don't think that you can go wrong with either. Depending of what you want it for, one may have a little advantage over the other. I love the handle and the lightness of the Kistler.

Trailer hooks: really necessary?
I will not cast an spinnerbait, a buzzbait or a buzz frog without one.
-
How long before you re-spoll with braid?
Twice a year at least

Rod socks and hooks?
These are my favorite socks http://www.***.com/descpage-SJC.html. They don't cover the hook keeper All my rods are in socks and reels with cover ( I like Daiwa best ) I keep 3-5 sets in my truck, all covered but but with lure/hook and ready to rock.

Team Daiwa Zillion vs. Abu Garcia Revo STX-HS
I have the same difficulties making a decision, I finally went with the Zillion when I realized they don't make the Revo 7.1:1 in lefty....dumb!!!!

Spro DD Crankbait 25?
That is why they cost 2 bucks. They do make a great swimbait.....for $ 30.00
-
zillion maintenance?
It is not that expensive. Rocket Fuel 1 oz., $ 10.00, Quantum Hot Sauce .75 oz, $ 7.50. I use ReelMech oil in my Zillion

pro qualifier rod opinion
I think that the Extreme is a better rod, black is about the same but the handle is much better and comfortable, more sensitive. Both are heavy
-
rapala--husky jerk / x-rap ?
X-Raps are one of my most productive lures but I can't say the same about HJ, for some reason I never did well with them, and honestly now I rarely use them, if I think Rapala means X-Rap #8 in Hot Steel.

Swim Senko Article
I tried them a lot last year, weightless never did well but I have much better results when I added weight, best 1/8 shacky head
-
G Loomis BRC893 GLX Senko Rod
I second what The Natural said, the rod is just perfect for Senkos and worms. I use Sufix braid 50 lbs in every set I have for soft plastics just be careful not to set the drag too hard. You will love it.

Can bass see my braided line? Does it matter?
I feel the same way but in clear waters I use a fluoro leader....confident factor
-
